Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “44401” as carried by the LMS 4F Class 0-6-0 built by the North British Railway Co. in 1927. It was w/d June 1965 and cut up by Ward’s of Killamarsh. The smokebox background has been repainted but the numerals are in original paint. The back is unrestored.
