1 Cast Iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “61042”. Ex-loco condition as carried by the LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 built by the NBL Co. (25799 of 1946). A Yarmouth, Norwich, March, Lincoln and Immingham loco it was w/d April 1966 and cut up at Cohen’s, Kettering. SOLD FOR
2 North Staffordshire Railway Ground Signal Lamp brass plated “NSR 1017”, with an interior lamp of correct pattern. Complete with all fittings and glass lenses. Restored and rare. SOLD FOR
3 Oval cast brass Locomotive Worksplate “LMS Built 1950 Derby”. Lightly face restored only. Locos built that year were 2-6-4T. Nos. 42133 – 46, 42050 – 65 and 0-6-0DE Shunters Nos. 12067 – 87. An interesting date – 2 years after the LMS absorption into BR! SOLD FOR
4 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “M&GNJt” top and body and vessel. Brass plated “Foreman Cross Keys Bridge” and “1323”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Fine condition and unpainted. SOLD FOR
5 Cleator & Workington Junction Railway “114” cast iron Bridge Numberplate. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
6 Double sided enamel Advertising Sign with a wall flange “Agent for the Home & Colonial. Wonderful Tea 1/6 per pound”. Re-touched edge wear only to both faces which have superb colour and shine. 20x10in. SOLD FOR
7 BR(W) fully flanged enamel Sign from Shrewsbury station “Tickets for Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Paddington Line, West of England, South Wales, Central Wales to Swansea, Severn Valley, Stafford and Euston Line”. One small face chip otherwise flange chipping only and with very good colour and shine. 36x18in. SOLD FOR

9 Aluminium Single Line Tablet inscribed “Bartlow – Haverhill North 21”. Complete with original pouch with hoop. V.g.c. A section of the former GER Cambridge – Long Melford line. SOLD FOR
10 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Totem Station Sign “Kents Bank”. The flange repainted black and minor re-touching of the perimeter white otherwise v.g.c. with very good colour and shine. A former Furness Railway station south west of Grange over Sands. SOLD FOR
11 BR(WR) double royal pictorial Poster “Teignmouth” by Mays. A dramatic evening view of beach bathers. A small loss to the bottom right corner otherwise v.g.c. with no folds. SOLD FOR
12 Oval cast brass Builders Plate “John Fowler & Co. (Leeds) Limd. Steam Plough Works Leeds No. 6137, with ornate leading letters. V.g.c. and unpainted. 12.75×7.5. As carried by a traction engine or ploughing engine built between 1888 and 1890. SOLD FOR

14 Caledonian Railway cast iron Milepost Top “Carlisle 223”. From the section between Forfar and Aberdeen. Face restored only with the original weathered bolts still in place. SOLD FOR
15 LNER cast iron Station Seatback Nameplate “Ancaster” from the former GNR station between Grantham and Boston. Face restored only 32in. long. SOLD FOR
16 Cast brass Road Vehicle Radiator Plate “Carrier Regd”, in original condition. Target shaped 9.8x6in. and in v.g.c. n/s
17 “GN & GE Joint Railway Beware of Trains. Look both up and down the line before you cross” cast iron Notice face restored only. SOLD FOR
18 LNER ‘9×5’ cast brass Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 60813 Darlington Works 1937”. Ex-loco condition as carried by the V2 Class 2-6-2 which was unique in being fitted with a stovepipe chimney and small wing smoke deflectors which it carried throughout its life. A long term St. Margaret’s loco it was w/d Nov. 1966 and cut up by McWilliams, Shettleston. SOLD FOR

20 BR(E) fully flanged enamel Station Sign “Way In” ex-Sheffield Victoria. Minor edge / flange chips only. Very good colour and shine. 24x12in. SOLD FOR
21 London & North Western Railway silver plated Salt Container complete with blue glass liner and original spoon. The container with ornate decoration and hinged lid and the spoon both by Elkington bear the “L&NWRy Co” Britannia garter inscription. Superb condition. SOLD FOR
22 North Eastern Rly. or possibly earlier square fronted 3 aspect Handlamp. Complete with “NER Co” rape oil vessel and early red and apple green aspect glasses. V.g.c. and repainted. SOLD FOR
23 Great Central Railway mahogany cased Signal Box Block Bell with small nickel ‘mushroom’ bell ex-Nottingham Victoria. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
24 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway silver plated Teapot by Mappin & Webb. The large L&YR coat of arms surmounted by a Victorian crown boldly displayed on the face. Fine condition. 6in. tall overall. SOLD FOR

31 North British Railway Bulpitt’s patent 3 aspect Handlamp plated “Bulpitt & Sons 1907 Birmingham” and stamped “NBR 6935 2426S” and “Tynehead Nathercoarse” and later stamping “Arbroath”. Complete with original Bulpitt vessel and burner, all fittings and glasses and restored. SOLD FOR
32 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “45184”. Face restored only. As carried by the LMS ‘Black 5’ 4-6-0 built by Armstrong Whitworth (1255 of 1935). A Carlisle Kingmoor and Chester loco mainly in BR days. It was w/d from the latter in Sept. 1965 and cut up by Ward’s, Beighton, Sheffield. SOLD FOR
33 BR(M) flanged enamel Carriage Board “Bradford Leeds Rotherham Sheffield Nottingham Kettering”. Re-touching to edges and both ends. Very good colour and shine. 26in. long. SOLD FOR

36 LNER ‘9×5’ cast brass Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 1937 Stephenson & Co. 1935”. Ex-loco condition with torch spillage and slight enlargement of right hand hole. As carried by the K3 Class 2-6-0. A Carlisle Canal engine during the BR period it was w/d April 1960 and cut up at Cowlairs. SOLD FOR

44 LNER ‘A4’ Class brass Chime Whistle in v.g.c. and mounted on a wooden stand. V.g.c. 13.5in. tall overall. The accompanying copy receipt paperwork states that the whistle is ex-60029 “Woodcock”. SOLD FOR
45 Southern Railway enamel Station Target Sign “Charing” from the former SE&CR Ashford – Maidstone line. Some edge and screw hole re-touching but very presentable on a wooden backboard. SOLD FOR
