301 LNER nickel silver Pass inscribed “A55 J. Wilkie Scottish Area”. Reverse bears full LNER company title and coat of arms. SOLD FOR
302 Oval cast brass Locomotive Tender Plate “Great Northern Railway Makers Dundalk 77B 1904”. Face restored only. 9.8×5.8in. Possibly as attached to one of two PS Class 4-4-0’s, No. 88 “Victoria” or No. 89 “Albert”. Details however are rather vague at best. Full information is on the rear of the plate. SOLD FOR
303 Lancashire & Yorkshire Rly. mahogany cased Signal Box Sending & Receiving Block Instrument complete with “Train Waiting” slide. Trafolite plate “Chaffers Siding” (nr. Widnes). A very fine instrument stamped “LYR 732” on the roof and branded “LNWR” below the base. SOLD FOR
304 “GNR 131” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate from a structure south of Peterborough on the ECML. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
305 GER 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp stamped “Harwich 38” and date coded for 1906. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Back handle removed. Unrestored. SOLD FOR
306 Carriage Print “Selby, Yorkshire” by Kenneth Steel from the LNER 1945 – 55 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
307 LNER cast iron Station Seatback Nameplate “Clydebank (Central)”. Face restored only. 55.75in. long. A fine seatback in undamaged condition from the former NBR station west of Glasgow. ‘Central’ removed from the current station name in June 1965. SOLD FOR
308 A pair of Southern Railway Bulleid Pacific Locomotive brass cased Head Lamps. One lacks its toggle switch but both retain a portion of elbow pipework. SOLD FOR
309 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “50C” (Selby). Restored. SOLD FOR
310 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway small china Cream / Milk Pourer lettered “L&YR Halifax”. The company initials in an outlined shield. V.g.c. and a scarce location. 2in. tall only. SOLD FOR

313 BR(S) half flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Devonport Kings Road”. Very minor edge wear only. Good colour and shine. A scarce totem from the former LSWR Plymouth station closed in Sept. 1964. SOLD FOR
314 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “66E” (Carstairs). Painted on the back is “45319”. A Black 5 allocated here between Oct 1965 and Nov. 1966. (See also lot no. 228). SOLD FOR

316 “British Railways Nottingham Midland Station” fully flanged enamel Direction Sign. Some very light scuffs otherwise lovely condition with fine colour and shine. SOLD FOR
317 South Eastern & Chatham Railway small rectangular cast brass Plate “SE & CR Co. Wagon GSX 1915 Reg. No. E113509”. Original condition. 4.5×2.5in. SOLD FOR

320 LNER cast brass ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway Gateshead Works 8436 1905”. Small brazed repairs to the bolt holes. As carried by the J77 Class 0-6-0T w/d in June 1956 and cut up at Darlington. SOLD FOR
321 LNER 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Colwick Sdg. 161”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. V.g.c. and unpainted. SOLD FOR
322 Carriage Print “Gorlestone-on-Sea, Norfolk” by Donald Blake from the 1948-55 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
323 “Stonea” brass Desk / Signal Box Lamp complete with burner and glass chimney. V.g.c. A former GER location south east of March, the station here closed in Nov. 1966. SOLD FOR
324 BR(NER) quad royal pictorial Poster “Service to Industry” by Terence Cuneo. A stunning image of the I.C.I. Chemical Works at Billingham with steam and diesel locos in attendance. Folds and some tears, the latter not greatly affecting the image. SOLD FOR
325 Rhodesia Railways cast brass Locomotive Cabside Number Plate “186”. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
326 London & North Western Railway Telegraph Lineman’s portable brass cased Amp Meter. Face inscribed “L&NW Rly. Tel’g. Dept.” Drop down front flap to protect glazed needle display. Complete with original leather handle and in v.g.c. 6.75in. dia. n/s
327 Double sided enamel Advertising Sign “Lipton’s Tea Merchants by Special Appointment”. A ‘T’ shaped sign incorporating the Royal coat of arms. Some chipping but good colour and shine. 18.5×17.5in. SOLD FOR
328 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. Body stamped “M&GN” and brass plated “2267 Long Sutton”. Top stamped “M&GNJR” plus “2267” brass plate. Top handle and vessel stamped “M&GNJR”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unrestored. The station was west of Sutton Bridge and closed in March 1959. SOLD FOR

330 Aluminium Single Line Tablet inscribed “Horsforth – Arthington”. A special section used during engineering works in Bramhope Tunnel. SOLD FOR

332 BR(E) flangeless enamel Station Doorplate “Parcels and Left Luggage”. Two small corner chips. Fine deep colour and shine. SOLD FOR
333 LNWR 3 aspect Handlamp with very narrow neck. Body stamped “LNWR” and “Golden Grove Chg. A11642”. Complete with “LNWR” rape oil vessel, all fittings and glasses. V.g.c. and unrestored. The station was east of Carmarthen and closed in Sept. 1963. SOLD FOR
334 GCR mahogany cased Crossing Repeater Instrument with “Down Line” and “Up Line” plates, and clearly stamped “GCR” on the roof. SOLD FOR
335 Painted wooden Carriage Board “The Ulster Express”. Fairly good condition 12 feet long. Successful bidder to collect from Southampton by appointment. n/s
336 LMS large tapered metal Fluid Container with swing handle and brass tap. The body embossed “LMSR” bears a large oval brass plate “Return to Divisional Supt. of Operation LMS Crewe”. restored. 21in. tall to top of handle. SOLD FOR
337 “GNR Little Steeping” brass Office Stamp on a turned wooden handle. East Lincs. station south west of Firsby closed in Sept. 1961. SOLD FOR
338 LNER cast iron ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 4161 1947”. Unpainted as carried by the tender originally attached to the B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61171. The loco was w/d Sept. 1962 from March and cut up by Central Wagon Co., Ince. SOLD FOR

The station on the St. Ives to Ely line closed to passengers in Feb. 1931 and completely by 1956. The lamp is unrestored but in v.g.c. SOLD FOR
342 North Eastern Railway Best Kept Wayside Station Certificate 1906 awarded to “Middleton-in-Teesdale”. An attractive item bearing the full colour NER crest. In a glazed frame 16.25×13.25in. o/all. This branch line terminus closed in Nov. 1964. SOLD FOR
343 Aluminium Single Line Tablet “Swaffham Station – Narboro 22”. From the former GER Kings Lynn to Dereham line. SOLD FOR
344 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “53A” (Hull Dairycoates). Restored. SOLD FOR
345 “Hudswell” curved cast brass Diesel Locomotive Radiator Plate incorporating a headlamp aperture. Ex-loco condition. 49.5in. long. SOLD FOR
346 Highland Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. Top and body stamped “HRy” and the body has a brass plate “A & 1 Sec. 7” (Aberdeen and Inverness Section). Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR
347 A Flamecut Cabside Panel from the BR Diesel Electric 0-6-0 Shunter “08 340”. Very cleanly cut to a true rectangle 26.75x12in. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
348 GNR Miniature Somersault Signal Lamp Case bearing four brass plates: “Great Northern Railway No. 27668”, “Hunslet Ground Frame”, “From Sewage Works” and “2”. Complete with correct but unplated interior lamp. Complete and in v.g.c. throughout. n/s
