251 GWR cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “6923” as carried by the ‘Hall’ Class 4-6-0 “Croxteth Hall”. Cleaned otherwise ex-loco condition. SOLD FOR
252 Pair of GWR 1947 pattern wooden cased Signal Box Block Instruments in good condition. SOLD FOR
253 Double sided enamel Advertising Sign “Agent for Althams’ Popular Teas”. Fairly good condition. 15x9in. SOLD FOR
254 “Kitson & Co. Limited Leeds 1918” engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate. Face polished only 10.4×6.25in. As carried by a ROD / LNER 04 Class 2-8-0 from one of three 1918 Kitson built class members cut up at Doncaster Works. Either 63655, 63656 or 63666. The engines being withdrawn from Retford, Staveley and Frodingham respectively. SOLD FOR
255 Mahogany cased set of North Eastern Railway Presentation Rail Profiles dated 1903. A very fine set with tooled leather lining to the lid. Together with a smaller similar BR(E) set. (2). SOLD FOR
256 “London & North Eastern Railway” waxed linen “Colliery Map of Yorks, Notts, Derbys, Lancs, Chesh, & N. Wales and their Railway Connections”. On its original wooden battens and in v.g.c. Dated June 1936. 38x24in. SOLD FOR
257 Mahogany cased Signal Box Block Bell with tapper and brass cow bell in v.g.c. Test label to underside. SOLD FOR

259 A substantial Midland Railway Hand Drill from Nottingham. The handwheel inscribed “MR Co. Notts”. Complete with wooden handles and chuck. V.g.c. 19.75in. long. SOLD FOR
260 “British Railways Staff Association Newark Branch” fully flanged dark blue enamel Sign. Some face chipping but very good colour and shine. 48.5x24in. SOLD FOR
261 CLC 4 aspect pre-grouping Handlamp. Body stamped “CLC 39PE2” and brass plated “Cheshire Lines 39PE2 Delamere”. The aspect drum stamped “CLC” twice. Complete with original vessel stamped “CLC” and brass plated “39P CLC E1 Delamere”, all fittings and glasses. A superb example in unpainted condition. Delamere is on the Manchester to Chester Line. 262 “British Railways Board” cast iron Gate Notice. GWR pattern with 4 lines of text, after the title and “Notice”. Nicely face restored. SOLD FOR

273 “LMS Built 1901 Derby” oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate with impressed date. Unpainted. Locos built that year were 4-4-0’s Nos. 705 – 9, 543 – 52 and 486, 489 & 490. Nine received their BR Nos. SOLD FOR

275 Aluminium Single Line Tablet “Holbeach West – Moulton 21” in an original hooped leather pouch. A section of former M&GNJR between Spalding and Sutton Bridge closed in March 1959. SOLD FOR

278 North British Railway Signal Box Hanging Lamp with integral hoop. Clearly stamped “NBR” the vessel has a Victorian brass makers plate “Smiths & Co. Ltd. Oilmen to the Queen 89 George St. Edinburgh” with royal coat of arms. Complete with brass burner and in v.g.c. SOLD FOR
279 Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway 12in. mahogany cased roundhead Wall Clock. The dial is re-written W. McFerran Victoria St. Manchester MS & L 377”. The chain driven fusee movement is held within ‘A’ shaped brass plates. The back bears the remains of a ‘Guide Bridge’ location label and the side panel features a top hung access door. Complete with pendulum and key. SOLD FOR
280 “LNER 2356” Guards 15 jewel Pocket Watch by Record. The movement surround inscribed with the matching number to the case back. One small chip to the face. Working order. SOLD FOR
281 LNER cast iron Signal Post Finial (GNR pattern) ex-Doncaster near Carr. Loco. Painted with damage to base box. 36in tall. SOLD FOR
282 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builders Plate “Built 1956 Doncaster”. Unrestored with “73122” painted on the back. This Standard Class 5 loco, a Corkerhill resident all its life being w/d in Sept. 1965 and cut up by Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co. Wishaw. SOLD FOR

287 Great Northern & Lancashire & Yorkshire Joint 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “GNR 15334” top, body and vessel. Date stamped “1 / 1900”. Brass plates to body “Great Northern Railway Company Knottingley Station 2” and “GN & L&Y Joint”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unrestored and a rare bird indeed! SOLD FOR

296 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “92248”. Face restored only. As carried by the BR Class 9F 2-10-0 built at Crewe in Dec. 1958, a double chimney example, allocated new to Old Oak Common. It was w/d from Cardiff East Dock May 1965 and cut up by Cashmore’s, Newport. SOLD FOR
297 Carriage Print “Edinburgh” by Sidney Causer from the LNER 1945 – 47 series. V.g.c. and in an original glazed frame. SOLD FOR
298 Southern Railway cast iron Crossing Gate Lamp Case by Lamp Mfg. & Rly. Supplies, London. On its original cast iron bracket bolted to a length of timber to simulate a gate top rail. V.g.c. complete with polished copper cap and two good red bullseye lenses. Restored. SOLD FOR
299 “South African Railways / Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee 2963 15F” cast aluminium Locomotive Cabside Numberplate together with “PE” Depot and “Shunt” cast aluminium plates as carried by the 4-8-2 built by the North British Loco Co. in 1939 (Works No. 24503). All face restored and mounted on a metal panel 29.5×23.75in. Together with cast brass locomotive worksplate “North British Locomotive Company Ltd. Glasgow No. 26404 1949” as carried by the SAR Class 24 No. 3692. Face restored only. This loco was scrapped at Touws River circa 1985. n/s
300 “Robin Hoods Bay – Ravenscar” bronze Single Line Key (head only). Ex-service condition from the north east coast line closed in March 1965. SOLD FOR
