Great Western Railway ‘Hall’ Class Locomotive Nameplate “Rood Ashton Hall” No. 4965 built at Swindon in 1929. It was w/d in March 1962 from Didcot, and purchased by Woodham’s, Barry from where it was rescued for preservation. It is currently ‘Out of Ticket’ at Tyseley. Two inch scale coal fired Model of a Burrell Showman’s Road Locomotive constructed to a very high standard of workmanship and detailing based on the full size fairground engine “Goliath”. The model has been run in steam and has a boiler certificate tested at the time. This may need to be re-issued if the successful purchaser wishes to run it.
