Cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Braveheart” as carried in preservation by the BR Standard Class 4 4-6-0 No. 75014 built at Swindon in Dec. 1954 and allocated to Patricroft. It was w/d from Shrewsbury in Dec. 1966 stored there for a year then sent to Woodhams, Barry Dock. It was acquired by the North York Moors Railway in 1981 & returned to steam in 1994. Named in 2000 after the Mel Gibson film at the time depicting the life of William Wallace. The plates were cast in the same style as those fitted by BR to the Standard Class Fives. In 2002 the “Braveheart” plates were removed and the loco was sold to the Dartmouth Steam Railway. This nameplate in ex-loco condition is from the driver’s side and is 34in. long. | SOLD FOR £780 |

Midland Railway oak drop cased Wall Clock with carved ‘ears’ and lenticle surround. The 10in. dial is written “BR 15233” and has plain numerals plus 24hr examples. The fusee movement is held between ornately shaped plates spaced with turned brass pillars. A very attractive clock in working order complete with pendulum and key.
