452 Midland Railway pattern Train Splitter Lamp with large double hook to the top cap which is brass plated “Euston” and stamped “5002D”. Complete with red & clear bullseye lenses, all fittings and typical Midland Ry. style brass door slide and catch. Very good condition and restored. SOLD FOR
453 London & North Western Railway cast iron Locomotive Tender Plate “L&NWR No. 1685”. V.g.c. and unrestored. SOLD FOR

455 “South African Railways Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee 2294 GM” cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate as carried by the 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 Beyer Garrett built by Beyer Peacock (Works No. 6886) in 1938. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
456 “The North British Railway Company” Seal. The steel stamp fully inscribed with company title and coat of arms on an ebonised hardwood handle. V.g.c. 3.25in. tall. SOLD FOR

461 Bronze Single Line Tablet inscribed “Newburgh – Bridge of Earn Jct”. V.g.c. Unusual with the use of some lower case letters. A section of the former NBR Perth to Ladybank Line, closed to passengers in 1955. SOLD FOR

463 Midland Railway polished brass Locomotive Whistle with valve. Mounted on a wooden stand and in v.g.c. 18in. tall o/all. SOLD FOR

471 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Abbey Wood”. One small re-touched chip at right end. Excellent colour and shine. A former SE & CR station between Dartford and Woolwich. Alphabetically the first station on the Main Line Network. SOLD FOR
472 Cast iron locomotive Shedplate “12C” (Carlisle Canal then Barrow). Face restored only. SOLD FOR
473 LNWR cast iron Crane Plate lettered “Joint Railway 81”. Face restored only. This example came from the Shrewsbury area (GWR & LNWR Joint). SOLD FOR
474 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “46405”. Face restored only. As carried by the LMS Class 2 2-6-0 built at Crewe in 1946. An Aintree, Bury and Buxton loco it was w/d from the latter in Dec. 1966 and cut up by Cashmore’s, Great Bridge. SOLD FOR

477 Harton Coal Company 3 aspect Handlamp with brass plate “H. C. Co. Loco No. 8” complete and in good original condition. The colliery was a large system in the South Shields area. SOLD FOR

479 “Built 1953 Crewe” oval cast iron Locomotive Works Plate. Restored. 10.25×5.75in. As carried by a Standard Class 2MT 2-6-2 w/d from Stockport Edgeley Dec. 1965. SOLD FOR

483 Driver’s 2 aspect miniature Handlamp with square front. “Russell Darlington” makers plate to the body. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored. A lamp of very early form either NER or one of its constituent companies possibly Stockton & Darlington or York & Newcastle. SOLD FOR
484 LNWR paper Trespass Notice. Wording identical to the common 1883 cast iron sign, but for internal use. In a glazed frame 28×22.75in. o/all and probably scarce. SOLD FOR
485 Two fully enamelled BR Station Signs “British Rail” with double arrow notice board header 26in. long and a fully flanged doorplate “Parcels and left luggage” (18x5in) with one small chip otherwise v.g.c. (2). SOLD FOR
