51 Large bound Plans Book titled “North Eastern Railway Leeds Extension Plans & Sections of proposed branch railways and works between Church Fenton, Micklefield and Leeds 1863 – 1864”. Interesting content, particularly the early proposal of the route from Marsh Lane station to Leeds Central station. n/s
52 Box of Station Platform Lamp Vessels for restoration. Some have station names. SOLD FOR
53 Carriage Print “Durham” by Sidney Causer from the LNER 1945 – 47 series. A file copy in v.g.c. in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
54 LMS Northern Counties Committee glazed stoneware Ashtray by The Coalisland Pottery. The rim inscribed “London Midland & Scottish Railway NCC”. V.g.c. 4.5in. dia. n/s
55 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway mahogany Chair with original upholstery to seat and back pad. Back rail bears a carved “L&YR” cartouche and the forward legs are fitted with brass casters. “A. Blain Liverpool” makers stamp to underside. V.g.c. SOLD FOR

57 Three cast iron Wagon Plates: “Midland Railway 12 tons 1915” registration; “LMS 14 tons 1940” registration; “Gloster C&W Co. 21T. 1958” ‘D’ plate. All v.g.c. and restored. (3). n/s

60 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Number Plate “64904”. Ex-loco paintwork to the face as carried by the LNER J39 Class 0-6-0 built at Darlington 1936 originally numbered 3000. A Selby engine for many years it was w/d from Leeds Neville Hill in Oct 1961 and cut up at Cowlairs Works. SOLD FOR
61 GNR / LNER 3 aspect Handlamp. Top stamped “GNR 18522” and date stamped for Dec. 1913. Body has brass plate “London & North Eastern Railway Newark Pass.” Complete with all fittings and glasses but front lens cracked. SOLD FOR
62 Four Midland Railway engraved brass Signal Box Lever Plates. Two are ex-Uffington Box and one is ex-Swinderby Box (marked). V.g.c. (4). n/s
63 “S. Fox & Co. Ltd. Stocksbridge Nr. Sheffield” promotional stainless steel octagonal Ashtray. The rim inscribed with the company details and “Silver Fox Stainless Steel”. A cast raised head of a fox to the centre. Samuel Fox & Co. supplied the foxes which adorned the body sides of the LNER ‘A4’ 60017 “Silver Fox”. V.g.c. and unusual. SOLD FOR
64 Two South African Railways cast brass Locomotive Tender Plates “T3526 EW2” and “3520 CZ”. Both from NBL Co. built Class 25 / NC locos. Together with a bi-lingual cast bass plate “Caution do not step in conveyor”. Ex-SAR loco tender. (3). SOLD FOR
65 ‘Darlington’ and ‘DM’ cast iron ‘D’ Wagon Plates together with a Shell Mex and BP owners plate. (3). n/s
66 LNWR 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “Holyhead TFC A 35670” and brass plated “L&NW TFC Dept.” Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored. n/s
67 Cast brass Strip “9525” from a LNER ‘9×5’ Works Numberplate. Ex ‘N2’ Class 0-6-2T built by the North British Loco Co. (22602 of 1921) w/d in March 1959 from Kings Cross and cut up at Doncaster. SOLD FOR
68 “LNER 7” large cast iron Bridge Numberplate. GNR pattern with casting no. “B100”. Face painted only many years ago. SOLD FOR
69 An original watercolour Painting by John Wigston of Southrey station near Bardney depicting a ‘K2’ Class loco hauled train entering the station. A fine image with lots of detail in a glazed frame with mount 29.25×21.75in. o/all. SOLD FOR
70 “LMS Newtonmore” brass headed Office Stamp on a turned wooden handle. V.g.c. A former Highland Rly. main line station south west of Aviemore. SOLD FOR
71 Caledonian Railway Splitter Lamp stamped “Caledonian” and complete with all fittings, side small lenses and a fine red bullseye front lens set in a wide brass bezel. Very good ex-service condition. SOLD FOR
72 BR(Sc) double royal pictorial Poster “Glen Ogle Perthshire” by Terence Cuneo. Laminated and personally signed by the artist and framed. SOLD FOR
73 “Hull & Barnsley and Great Central Railways Joint Committee” fully titled cast iron Trespass Notice. Face restored a while ago. SOLD FOR
74 North Eastern Railway oak drop cased Wall Clock. The original 14in. service dial is written “W. Potts & Sons N.E.R. Leeds 468”. The fine quality chain driven fusee movement includes the drive shaft when the clock was part of a master and slave arrangement. A fine clock ex-Harrogate Goods Weighing Office. Complete with pendulum, key and original purchase receipt from Collector’s Corner, York. SOLD FOR
75 Box of Miscellaneous Signalling Items including brass cased repeaters, lever plates, lever collars and a key token machine instrument plate. Well worth a delve. SOLD FOR
76 Cast iron Locomotive Tender Plate “LMS No. 10095 1944”. Face restored only a while ago. Originally attached to the 8F 2-8-0 No. 48368. SOLD FOR
77 “London Midland & Scottish Railway” fully titled enamel Trespass Notice dated “Euston Station London 1st. Jan. 1925”. Four chipped areas with minimum affect to text. Very good colour and shine. 22.75x17in. SOLD FOR
78 Official folding linen Map of the Great Northern Railway. Titled label to marbled hard covers dated 1897. A large area well detailed including other companies lines. Opens out to 29×25.5in. Very good condition. SOLD FOR
79 GER rolled Plan on linen of Peterborough East detailing the loco shed, yards, adjacent buildings and goods facilities. Good archive material with some pencil script engineers notes. 69x26in. SOLD FOR

82 Great Northern Railway counter top Weighing Scales. The cast iron base embossed “GNR W8” and brass plated “GNR to weigh 14lbs”. Complete with pan and six cast iron weights. SOLD FOR
83 Scotrail double royal Poster “Loch Sheil” featuring dramatic artwork by Brendan Neiland R.A. A fine image from the ‘Highland Collection’ series in v.g.c. with no folds. SOLD FOR
84 A superb “Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Company Exchange Station Hotel Liverpool” printed cotton damask Table Square or large Napkin. Full title and company coat of arms within ornate acanthus leaf decoration. Some wear to the centre and folds. Would make a fine display with LYR crockery or silver-plate. 25.5×24.75in. SOLD FOR
85 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Great Central Ry. Builders Gorton Works 1920 Manchester”. Cleaned and unrestored. Locos built that year were four members of the D11 Class 62661 “Gerard Powys Dewhurst”, 62662 “Prince of Wales”, 62663 “Prince Albert”, 62664 “Princess Mary” and ‘05’ Class No. 63917. So a good chance it is off a ‘namer’. SOLD FOR
86 A Splitter Lamp used on the Bass Worthington Railway system at Burton-on-Trent. Complete with all fittings and nicely restored. The lamp bears a maker’s plate “Linley Engineering, Birmingham, England” and was given to our vendor by the Bass Railway Superintendent at the time of its closure in 1967. SOLD FOR
87 South African Railways bi-lingual cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “4161 GMAM”. Cleaned and un-painted as carried by the 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 Beyer Garrett built by Henschel (29620 of 1958). SOLD FOR
88 “GER Mechanics Institution 1914” bronze Medal for the photo section inscribed to “G.M. Collyns 1914 Outings Prints”. V.g.c. and in its original titled presentation case. SOLD FOR
89 Midland Railway cast iron Weak Bridge Notice. James Williams Secretary version dated April 28th. 1875. V.g.c. and face restored only. SOLD FOR

A multi page record of the company’s assets, liabilities, engine mileages, goods receipts, stock carried, hotel revenues, etc. throughout its existence up to nationalisation. 94 Great Eastern Rly. 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp. Stamped “GER Guyhirne 12” and date stamped for 1918. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Back handle removed in service. Restored. A former GN & GE Joint station north west of March closed in Oct. 1953. SOLD FOR
95 London Transport double royal letterpress Poster of 1936 advertising exhibitions, concerts and rugby matches with venues and underground stations for them. Very good condition with no folds. SOLD FOR
96 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builders Plate “LMS Built 1944 Crewe”. Face restored only. Locos built that year were Black 5’s Nos. 44826 – 60, Coronation Class Nos. 46249 – 52, 8F’s Nos. 48317 – 30. SOLD FOR
97 Cheshire Lines Committee 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp. Body stamped “CLC 30 PE 9” has a brass plate “Cheshire Lines 30 PE 9 Hale”. Complete with “CLC” vessel all fittings and glasses and unrestored. A station on the Manchester – Chester line south of Altrincham. SOLD FOR
98 Cast iron locomotive Shedplate “66E” (Carstairs). Small characters unrestored. “Engine District Plate etc.” cast in back. SOLD FOR
