511 “Built 1949 Crewe” cast iron Locomotive Worksplate. Locos built that year were Class 2 2-6-2T. 41230 – 59, Class 5 4-6-0 Nos. 44658 – 67 / 44718 – 37. This example was carried by the ‘Black 5’ No. 44664 which was w/d May 1968 from Bolton and cut up by Draper’s, Hull. SOLD FOR

513 French Railways cast aluminium Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “S.N.C.F. 231. G. 188”. Stripped of paint but traces of red remain. As carried by a Pacific Tender Loco, a number of these were allocated to Boulogne, Calais, Nantes and Mezidon Depots. SOLD FOR

516 Cast brass ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “LNER 2600 Doncaster Works 1927”. face polished only. As carried by the ‘N7’ Class 0-6-2T No. 69702. A Stratford engine it was w/d March 1961 and cut up at the Works. SOLD FOR
