452 BR(Sc) fully flanged enamel Station Doorplate “Station Master”. Chipping along top edge mainly. Very good colour and shine. n/s
453 BR(E) reversible canvas Cash Bag bearing two oval brass plates “Goods Agent Scarborough” and “District Traffic Supt. York”. Complete with leather mounts and buckles. n/s
454 LNER cast iron Station Doorplate “Ladies Waiting Room”. V.g.c. and restored. SOLD FOR
455 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “60148” as carried by the Eastern Region A1 Class 4-6-2 built at Darlington in 1949 and named “Aboyeur” after the winning racehorse of the 1913 Derby. The engine was allocated to Grantham, Kings Cross, Copley Hill and Ardsley, w/d from the latter June 1965 and cut up by Arnott Young, Dinsdale. (See next lot). SOLD FOR
456 Engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “No. 2067 Darlington 1949”. As carried by the A1 Pacific “Aboyeur”. Face lightly polished only. SOLD FOR
457 Midland Railway engraved brass Flap Indicator Plate “Distant From Up Fast Line To Kettering On”. Original red wax infill to engraving and retains original iron crank riveted to the back. SOLD FOR
458 A copper Finial 17.5in. tall x 8in base diameter. V.g.c. Has a Cheshire Lines Committee look about it. SOLD FOR

481 Cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “No. 5505, 1947 The Vulcan Foundry (Limited) Newton-le-Willows Lancashire”. Cleaned and polished. As carried by the LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61147. A Dundee engine early in its career then long term at Thornton Junction where withdrawal came in Dec. 1965 followed by cutting up at Shipbreaking Industries, Faslane. SOLD FOR

484 “LMS Built 1942 Crewe” cast brass Locomotive Worksplate. Engines built that year were Class 8F 2-8-0 Nos. (4)8140 – 57. This is ex-no. 48158. A Holbeck engine for many years it was w/d Sept. 1967 and cut up by Draper’s, Hull. The plate is face restored only. SOLD FOR
