1 Great Central Railway large 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp. Stamped “GCR” and “17058” and with a large copper plate “GCR 17058 London”. Complete with “GCR” lining drum, all fittings and glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR
2 BR(E) fully flanged enamel Station Sign “Parcels and Left Luggage”. Minor edge chips only. Very good colour and shine. 24x18in. SOLD FOR
3 LNER cast iron Platform Seat Back Nameplate “Sigglesthorne”. V.g.c. 40in. long. A former NER station on the Hull- Hornsea branch closed in Oct. 1964. SOLD FOR
4 Great Western Railway cast iron Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “4116” as carried by the 2-6-2T built at Swindon in 1936. During the BR period it was allocated to Tyseley and Gloucester (Horton Road). It was w/d Sept. 1962 and cut up by Cashmore’s, Newport. SOLD FOR
5 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped M&GNJR on the top, body and handle. Plated to body “94 Gatehouse Moulton 1368”. Complete and in v.g.c. SOLD FOR
6 “GCR” marked mahogany cased Signal Box Block Bell with offset tapper. Ivorine plate to base “O.A. &G.B. Jc.” i.e. Oldham, Ashton & Guide Bridge. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
7 Triangular cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Nasmyth Wilson & Co., Limited No. 1394 – 1922 Patricroft Manchester”. One of two 3’-6inch gauge 2-6-2T locos sold new to Takoradi Harbour Works. This example became No. 172 of the Gold Coast Railway later re-numbered 206. Face restored only. 14.5×5.5in. SOLD FOR
8 LNER double line mahogany cased Signal Box Block Instrument with “Up Line” and “Down Line” indicators and tapper. “R.E. Thompson” makers plate to front face and cast brass plate “Court House Junc.” A Barnsley location. V.g.c. w/d
9 Carriage Print “Yorkshire Dales” by Rowland Hilder from the LNER 1937-39 series. Light staining to right hand corners but a scarce print in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
10 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Diggle”. Very small face chips and some overpainting of the white areas. Good colour and shine. A former LNWR station south west of Huddersfield closed in Oct. 1963. SOLD FOR
11 BR(E) Locomotive Headlamp with an unusual collar around the top cap. Stamped “BR(E)” and plated “Middlesborough”. Complete with correct BR(E) vessel, flip over lens and bullseye front lens. V.g.c. and restored. SOLD FOR
12 “NBR Hotel Edinburgh” glazed stoneware “Hot Water” Pot by Lovatt, Langley Mill. A delightful little item 4.5in. tall with small chips to the spout end and lid handle. SOLD FOR
13 “Great Central Ry” cast iron Notice “Trespassers will be prosecuted penalty forty shillings or imprisonment for one month”. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
14 BR(NE) flangeless enamel Station Doorplate “Station Master”. Excellent condition. SOLD FOR
15 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “52132” as carried by the LYR Aspinall 3F Class 0-6-0 introduced in 1889. A Newton Heath and Bolton loco in BR days w/d in March 1957 and cut up at Horwich. Face restored only a while ago. SOLD FOR
16 A black metal Deed Box in original condition with brass latch to the hinged lid which is lettered “Alteration of Gauge No. 2 Cornwall Rly. Doubling. Land for Viaducts”. A truly historic item referring to the change of Brunel broad gauge and the rebuilding of the old wooden decked Cornish viaducts. 18x14in. x 11in. high. SOLD FOR
17 Carriage Print “Wells-Next-The-Sea, Norfolk by J. Fletcher Watson from the LNER 1945-47 series. Left edge vertical crease and a good narrow make up piece to right edge. A scarce print however in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR

21 Great Western Railway pre-grouping 3 aspect Handlamp with a “Linley 1900” brass maker’s plate. Stamped “GWR” and complete with “GWR” vessel, “GWR” porcelain burner, all fittings and glasses. V.g.c. and unpainted. SOLD FOR
22 LNER cast iron Station Doorplate “Station Master”. Original example stripped of paint. SOLD FOR
23 Bronze Single Line Key inscribed “Kirk Sandall / Markham Sidings”. GCR / SYJ location north east of Doncaster. SOLD FOR
24 Diamond shaped Locomotive Builders Plate “North British Locomotive Company Ltd. Glasgow 1946 No. 25883”. As carried by the LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61127. A Doncaster, Retford and Frodingham engine w/d Aug. 1965 and cut up by Hughes, Bolckow, North Blyth. SOLD FOR
25 Caledonian Railway Carriage Luggage Rack comprising cast brass thistle scrollwork brackets each marked “CR” and a hardwood front rail. V.g.c. and a rare survivor 42in. long. SOLD FOR
26 Cast iron Wagon Plate “Thomas Moy Limited Builders Railway Works Peterboro”. V.g.c. and restored. 9.5×6.5in. o/all. SOLD FOR
27 A brass Shunters Horn brass plated “MS & L Oakwell Sidings”. A rare item from this Barnsley location in v.g.c. 8in. long and in working order. SOLD FOR

29 Large oval engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Great Northern Ry. Co. No. 1203 Makers 1908 Doncaster Works”. As carried by the J21 Class, later J1 0-6-0 No. 3003 / 5002 / 65002. A New England and Colwick engine. It was the penultimate member of the fifteen strong class to be w/d in Aug. 1954 followed by cutting up at Doncaster. The worksplate is in fine unpolished condition clearly marked “3003” in the back. 17.3×9.5in. n/s
30 Great Northern Railway large 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Claypole No. 4” and “T. Knight & Co. Highgate Works, Leopold St. Birmingham” (makers). Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unrestored. SOLD FOR
31 BR Class 45 Diesel Electric Locomotive heavy brass Control Handle clearly stamped “45143” and mounted on a polished mahogany stand. SOLD FOR

34 Cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “South African Railways 2813 15CA” in ex-loco condition as carried by the 4-8-2 built by the North British Loco Co. (23776 of 1928). SOLD FOR
35 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Whitchurch” from the former LNWR station between Crewe and Shrewsbury. Excellent condition. SOLD FOR
36 Rolled coloured Signal Box Diagram “Market Weighton West” between Kiplingcotes and Everingham / Londesborough. Includes gradient diagrams for all lines. V.g.c. 58×18.25in. SOLD FOR
37 “GN & GC Joint Railway” cast iron Trespass Notice, GNR 1896 pattern. Nicely face restored. SOLD FOR
38 Cast aluminium Locomotive Nameplate Badge showing the Pullman Coat of Arms. This accompanied the nameplate “The Statesman” fitted to the BR Class 47DE Loco No. 47785 named by Sir John Mills at Liverpool Lime Street Station on 20th July 1995, to commemorate the twinning of RES with a private train operator. The badge is in v.g.c. 23.75x12in and totally ex-loco. SOLD FOR
39 LNE-C, GCR pattern 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “LNE-C Mansfield Engineers 19627”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored. SOLD FOR
40 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “LMS Rebuilt 1891 Horwich”. Face restored only. As carried by the LYR 0-6-0ST. No. 11304 later BR 51304. Originally built as Class 23 Tender Locomotives by Barton Wright. Re-built by Aspinall as 0-6-0 ST’s 1891 – 1900. The engine later became the Horwich Works service loco. SOLD FOR
41 North Eastern Railway enamel Station Doorplate “Ladies Room”. Minor re-touching only. V.g.c. colour and shine. SOLD FOR
42 BR(M) double sided enamel Station Sign “Over bridge for way out and platforms 1 to 3”. Both faces in v.g.c. with good colour and shine. 24x18in. SOLD FOR
43 LNER concrete Boundary Post. Company initials incised into the face. 42in. tall with small base foot. SOLD FOR

45 “M&GN 322” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate. Restored and v.g.c. From the A148 overbridge at Cromer. SOLD FOR
46 BR(NE) quad royal pictorial Poster “Explore the Yorkshire Coast and nearby Countryside by Train” by Lander. A colourful image with stylised diagram of lines and stations, a number now closed. Minor creasing to top and bottom edges but no folds. SOLD FOR
47 LSWR square fronted 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “L&SWR Co” on the side door and “H. Baynton Manufacturers Bingley Works Birmingham”. Body is stamped “L&SWR Co. 551”, the number also on the aspect drum. Complete with LSWR sloping fronted vessel, all fittings and glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR
48 Great Northern & London North Western Joint Railway wooden Milepost with cast iron numerals “10” to the two angled faces. Ex-lineside condition 48.5in. tall, the post is 11x4in. From the platform at Tilton Station which closed in Dec. 1953. n/s
49 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Sundridge Park”. One very small re-touched chip to the bottom green edge otherwise very nice condition. SOLD FOR
