1 Great Central Railway large 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp. Stamped “GCR” and “17058” and with a large copper plate “GCR 17058 London”. Complete with “GCR” lining drum, all fittings and glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR

7 Triangular cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Nasmyth Wilson & Co., Limited No. 1394 – 1922 Patricroft Manchester”. One of two 3’-6inch gauge 2-6-2T locos sold new to Takoradi Harbour Works. This example became No. 172 of the Gold Coast Railway later re-numbered 206. Face restored only. 14.5×5.5in. SOLD FOR

9 Carriage Print “Yorkshire Dales” by Rowland Hilder from the LNER 1937-39 series. Light staining to right hand corners but a scarce print in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR

16 A black metal Deed Box in original condition with brass latch to the hinged lid which is lettered “Alteration of Gauge No. 2 Cornwall Rly. Doubling. Land for Viaducts”. A truly historic item referring to the change of Brunel broad gauge and the rebuilding of the old wooden decked Cornish viaducts. 18x14in. x 11in. high. SOLD FOR

29 Large oval engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Great Northern Ry. Co. No. 1203 Makers 1908 Doncaster Works”. As carried by the J21 Class, later J1 0-6-0 No. 3003 / 5002 / 65002. A New England and Colwick engine. It was the penultimate member of the fifteen strong class to be w/d in Aug. 1954 followed by cutting up at Doncaster. The worksplate is in fine unpolished condition clearly marked “3003” in the back. 17.3×9.5in. n/s

This accompanied the nameplate “The Statesman” fitted to the BR Class 47DE Loco No. 47785 named by Sir John Mills at Liverpool Lime Street Station on 20th July 1995, to commemorate the twinning of RES with a private train operator. The badge is in v.g.c. 23.75x12in and totally ex-loco. SOLD FOR

40 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “LMS Rebuilt 1891 Horwich”. Face restored only. As carried by the LYR 0-6-0ST. No. 11304 later BR 51304. Originally built as Class 23 Tender Locomotives by Barton Wright. Re-built by Aspinall as 0-6-0 ST’s 1891 – 1900. The engine later became the Horwich Works service loco. SOLD FOR
