401 Cast iron Wagon Registration Plate “Registered by the L&NER – E To Carry 20 Tons 1923 18”. A transitional plate from the former GER section. V.g.c. and face restored only.
402 Three different “G.C.R” Cap Badges together with a “Forward” coat of arms GCR / LNER collar badge or helmet plate centre. (5).
403 BR(E) half flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Lincoln St. Marks”. One very small face chip otherwise some edge re-touching only. Very good colour and shine.
404 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “M&GN / M&GNJR” top and body and brass plated “South Lynn 1826”. The number repeated on the top. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unpainted.
405 “GNR Stick No Bills” cast iron Notice. The right end broken in two places and repaired with welded joints. Restored. 14.5×9.25in.
406 “GNR Mineral Dept. Peterboro” brass Cash Bag Label.
407 “East Lincolnshire Railway” brass Office Stamp on a turned ebony handle. V.g.c. and a scarce item from the company formed in 1846.
408 Midland Railway “MR Co.” Face Piece Horse Brass (Hawthorne ref. 59).
409 Great Northern Railway “GNR” Face Piece Horse Brass (Hawthorne ref. 34) together with a “GNR” Harness Decoration Brass (no rear fixings) not illustrated in Hawthorne. (2).
410 Midland & Great Northern Railway “M&GN” Rosette Horse Brass (no rear fixings). Variant to Hawthorne ref. 65.
411 Great Eastern Railway “GER” Rosette Horse Brass (no rear fixings) Hawthorne ref. 30 together with a “LNER” Harness Decoration Brass (Hawthorne ref. 99). (2).
412 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “GNR 13280” and date stamped for “1891”. Original painted location down body side “GNR Witham Navigation”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored. The door catch a/f.
413 Great Central Railway large 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp stamped “GCR 27730” and brass plated “GCR 27730 Immingham”. Complete with “GCR” vessel and lining drum, all fittings and glasses. Restored. The bullseye lens is cracked.
414 “GN & GE JR Pilotman” red cloth Arm Band with both buckles but only one strap. Lettered “GN & GE” on the inside.
415 Chromed steel Single Line Key inscribed “Colsterworth – Skillington Rd.” V.g.c. as used on the High Dyke Ironstone System south of Grantham.
416 Wooden framed enamel Signal Box Board “Clay Lake” from the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway. Very good original condition. 34×9.25in.
417 GNR 3 aspect Handlamp dated for 1899. Brass plated Great Northern Railway Company Stow Park 5”, a former GN & GE Joint Line location. Complete with GNR vessel, all fittings and glasses and restored.
418 Leather Cash Bag brass plated “LNER Little Bytham to Peterboro” complete with LNER closing disc. Some wear to the rear top of the bag.
419 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Saxilby No. 3.” Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored. Orange glass is cracked.
420 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “30C” (Bishops Stortford). Unrestored and scarce.
421 “The British Power Railway Signal Co. cast iron Lamp Units on a shelf board with three brass plates to the face “L.O. Dist. To Bourne / No. 7 / L.O. Dist. To Spalding”. An unusual item from the M&GN. Base board measures 17.25×4.5in.
422 LNER cast iron Station Seat Back Nameplate “Boston”. Ex-station condition. 25.75in. long.
423 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Essendine 6”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored.
424 GNR enamel Signal Box Instrument Plates: “Main Lines Trent Lane Junc.” (some restoration), “Allington Junc” and “Saxondale Junc.” (3).
425 BR(Scr) quad royal pictorial Poster “Service to Industry” by Alisdair MacFarlane depicting diesel locos at work by the huge ore discharging plant at General Terminus Quay, Glasgow. Tiny edge nicks to lower right corner and folds.
426 Large wooden Single Line Staff from the M&GNJR. The square section head has two pairs of brass angle section engraved “Long Sutton” and “Sutton Bridge”. A substantial item 13.4in. long.
427 GNR Ground Signal Lamp Interior Lamp plated “Misterton”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. V.g.c. and unrestored.
428 LNER ‘horse shoe’ shaped enamel Station Lamp Sign “Tuxford Central” from the old LD&ECR Route. Minor edge wear only. 11×6.5in. overall.
429 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. Body is stamped “M&GNJR” and brass plated “M&GNJR 2197 Thorney”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored.
430 LNWR cast iron Signal Box Lever Description Plate “Up Wansford”. Original condition from Overton Signal Box.

432 LNER engraved brass Locomotive Builder’s Plate “London North Eastern Railway Co. No. 1580 Doncaster 1923”. As carried by the 02 Class 2-8-0 into Traffic in Dec. 1923. It became 3493 in 1924, 3938 in 1946 and 63938 in 1949. A Grantham engine for many years it was regularly employed on the High Dyke Ironstone Quarry System south of the town. It was withdrawn in Sept. 1963 and cut up at Rigley’s Bulwell Forest Wagon Works in Feb. 1964. A nice example of one of these worksplates face polished only.
433 GNR Somersault Signal Lamp Case with brass plate “Great Northern Railway No. 15340” and copper plates “Alford” and “4”. Complete with all fittings and glass lenses. V.g.c. and restored.
434 M&GNJR brass Signal Box Instrument Plates: “Gedney”, “Tydd” and “Holbeach West”. (3).
435 Small metal pump action Oil Can from the M&GNJR. Brass plate to the face inscribed “Counterdrain”. Unrestored.
436 “GNR Look-Out” enamel Arm Band in v.g.c. complete with “GNR” marked leather straps.
437 Great Northern & Great Eastern Joint Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “GNR 3549” top and body and brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Gainsborough GN & GE Joint 3”. Complete with all fittings and glasses (green glass is cracked) and GNR vessel. Restored.
438 Manchester Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway large 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp stamped “46E1” and “3942” and brass plated “MS & L 3942 Moortown”. Complete with “GCR” vessel, “MSLR” lining drum all fittings and restored.
439 Cast iron Wagon / Coach Plate “Clayton Wagons Ltd. 1922 Abbey Works Lincoln England” with the raised lion trademark to the centre. V.g.c., face restored only. 10.5×6.25in.
440 South Yorkshire Joint Railway cast iron Bridge Numberplate “SYJR 44”. From a structure just south of Tickhill and Wadworth Station.
441 “Lincoln Corporation Transport” titled cast aluminium Time Table Display Case with glazed door displaying “LCT” uniform buttons and lapel badges. 22.5in. x12in. overall.
442 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Permanent Way Department Engineers Trolley Lamp. Body stamped “M&GNJR” and copper plated “Bourne PWD M&GN Trolley”. Complete with “M&GNJR” vessel, all fittings, bullseye lens and lamp iron bracket to the back. Restored.
443 Pair of leather Cash Bags brass plated “GER Elm Bridge” and “BR Upwell”. Both in good condition and retain their LNER brass closing discs. Scarce survivors from the Wisbech & Upwell Tramway.
444 LNER 4 aspect Handlamp made by G. Polkey Ltd. Birmingham embossed “LNER” in the body and brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Langworth”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored.
445 GNR engraved brass Signal Box Instrument Plates: “To East Lincoln Junction” and “From Blotoft”. (2).
446 Great Central Railway wooden “Train Following” Board with iron loop for locating on loco / coach drawbar hook. Reverse side painted “G.C.R. To be returned to Cleethorpes”. Original condition to both faces. 25.5×17.75in. plus hook.
447 LNER cast iron Station Seat Back Nameplate “Dukeries Junction”. The left end including the “DU” letters were missing when our vendor acquired it. This has been replaced with a resin material so it presents well. A rare seat plate however 56in. long & screwed to a wooden board
448 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “GNR 8465” in top and body and brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Mablethorpe 1”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored.
449 Two LNER Guard’s Whistles, together with an early GER Button Whistle and a LNER combined Carriage Key & Gas Key. (4).
450 Box containing stoneware Ginger Beer Bottles all bearing Lincolnshire town or village names.
