101 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Side & Tail Lamp clearly marked “M&GNJR” and bearing a brass plate “1860 Holbeach M&GNJR”. Complete with “M&GNJR” vessel, “MR Co” burner, all fittings and two red bullseye lenses set in brass bezels. Restored.
102 A Display of BR Telephone Circuit Code Cards showing a profusion of locations in a glazed wooden frame.
103 Large Trafolite Signal Box Shelf Plates “Firsby”, “Lincoln” and “Willoughby”. All in g.c. (3).
104 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp with fogging glass date stamped for 1890. Brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Newark 44”. Complete with GNR vessel, all fittings and glasses. Unpainted.

107 Cast iron Agricultural Makers Plate “By Royal Letters Patent No. 5901 Clayton Shuttleworth & Co. Lincoln” with Victorian coat of arms to the centre. Restored. 13.5×8.5in.
108 A Selection of Railway Buttons from the GNR, GN & GE Joint, Nottingham Joint Station, GN & LNW Joint and East Coast Rly. Companies. All different. (10).
109 Ground Frame wooden Board with applied letters “South Drove Crossing”. V.g.c. and restored. 62.75×8.75in. The location of the five lever ground frame was between Cuckoo Junction and North Drove Station on the M&GNJR. A concrete cabin was built in 1924 to house the frame.
110 GNR enamel Signal Box Instrument Plates “To Honnington” and “Heckington”. The latter with minor edge re-touching. (2).

112 Richard Hornsby & Sons Industrial 3 aspect Handlamp. Brass plated “Yard Loco No. 1 R.H. & S.” Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored.
113 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “36A” (Doncaster). Unrestored. “44” is chalked on the back. The ‘A3’ Pacific 60044 “Melton” was based here in the early 1950’s.
114 GNR Ground Signal Interior Lamp with metal plate “Potterhanworth”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. V.g.c.
115 LNER cast iron Station Seat Back Nameplate “Tydd” from the M&GNJR system south of Sutton Bridge. Ex-station condition. 18.75in. long.
116 GNR 3 aspect Handlamp. Stamped “GNR 174A” in top and body and date stamped for 1919. Brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Five Mile House 2”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored.
117 Midland Railway oval metal ‘Train Following’ Type Board with iron hanging loop to locate over a locomotive draw bar hook. One face is painted “G” (Goods), the other “P” (Passenger). Clearly stamped “MR Co.” and is in original painted condition. 17x12in. plus hook.

119 Railway Executive quad royal pictorial Poster “Track Laying by Night” by Terence Cuneo. Two small edge tears and a tiny loss to lower corners. A fine atmospheric image.
120 Brass faced steel Single Line Tablet inscribed “Cross Keys Bridge”. Referring to the iconic swing structure at Sutton Bridge.
121 M&GNJR brass Signal Box Instrument Plates “From Horse Shoe Lane” and “From Leverington Rd.” The boxes were either side of Wisbech Goods Station. (2).
122 “British Railways Lea Road Station” fully flanged enamel Direction Sign. Re-touched edge chips only. Superb colour and shine. 28x13in.
123 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “GNR 8520” top and body. Brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Seacroft 3”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unpainted.
124 LNWR cast iron Signal Box Lever Description Plate “Down Bay To Stamford”. Good ex-signal box condition.
125 “Aveling-Barford Ltd. Engineers Grantham, England” small oval brass Makers Plate “Wizard No. 12232 of 5.8.41”. “A1256” is impressed in the back. 6.25×3.25in.
126 “L.D.&E.C.Rly” Office Stamp. The brass head bearing the initials of the Lancashire, Derbyshire & East Coast Railway on a turned ebonised handle. V.g.c.
127 Great Eastern Railway 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp stamped “S.J. Box Sleaford” (i.e. South Junction). Brass “P&W MacLennan” makers plate to the top and “London & North Eastern Railway Sleaford 47” to the body. Complete with “GER” vessel, all fittings and glasses and restored. The rear handle removed in service. A rare maker for GER lamps.
128 Metal Oil Storage Can stamped “GNR”. Large oval metal plate to the body “Lard Oil Honnington GNR” and with brass makers plate to the top “George W. Samson Manufacturers Birmingham. Restored. 13.5in. tall.

135 “M&GN 234” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate from a bridge west of Bourne. Face restored only a while ago.
136 Five brass and enamel First World War Service Lapel Badges: Hull & Barnsley Rly., Great Central Rly., North Eastern Rly., Great Northern Rly., and Midland Rly. All in good condition.
137 Great Northern & Great Eastern Joint Railway 12in. Wall Clock in a polished mahogany case with a chain fusee movement. The rear of the surround and back box are boldly branded “GN & GE J. C. 82”. The movement is stamped “GER”. The dial is re-written “GN & GE J Ry W. Potts & Sons Leeds”. The clock retains the remains of the original Potts label which is also written “GN & GER Lincoln” where the clock was in service. A fine timepiece complete with pendulum and winding key.

139 LNER, GNR pattern 3 aspect Handlamp. Top body and vessel all stamped “LNER 1506”. Brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Billingborough”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored.
140 GNR engraved brass Signal Box Instrument Plates “To Spalding” and “From Box 5”. The latter was a Spalding signal box. (2).
141 Telephone Circuit Card “M&GNJR (full title) T.M.O. Sutton Bridge”. 18 locations listed between Sutton Bridge and South Lynn. V.g.c. and in an original glazed frame mounted on a wooden backing.
142 LNER cast iron Station Seat Back Nameplate “Barnetby”. V.g.c. and screwed to a wooden backing board.
143 Great Central Railway Appleton’s Patent 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “GCR 9921” and brass plated “GCR 9921 Grimsby”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and unpainted. The door catch a/f.
144 A painted steel Gauge lettered “Bourne Loco L.N.E.R” on one face and “Standard Tyre Gauge” on the other. Fine original condition. 63.75in. long o/all.
