WELCOME TO OUR OCTOBER 2021 TELEPHONE AUCTION
All lots are divided into small bidding blocks finishing on deadline dates and times via two landline telephone numbers 01949 21105 and 01949 21106.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY SO THAT YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE CORRECT PROCEDURE.
As soon as you receive your catalogue or its appearance online bids can be made by telephone, post and email.
DEADLINES for POST and EMAIL bids will be 12.00 noon on the respective auction day.
If you are NOT on our database you MUST register with us with your full contact details no later than 12 noon on any respective auction day before placing any bid(s).
Each bidding block will conclude via TELEPHONE BIDDING ONLY up to each deadline time.
Please ensure you ring the CORRECT telephone number for each lot that you are bidding on, particularly approaching deadline times.
During deadline times do NOT enquire about lots in any other blocks.
General enquiries regarding any lot must be made ONLY between 9.00am and 12.00noon.
Our watches will be set every day to ensure as much accuracy as possible.
Experience tells us that deadline times can be very busy therefore any bidder can place “up to” commission bids with us and these will be held in the strictest confidence and will not be revealed unless a counter bidder exceeds your top amount. The successful bidder will pay one unit above the underbidder and NO MORE.
£10 to £100 = £5
£100 to £300 = £10
£300 to £1000 = £20
£1000 to £2000 = £50
£2000 + = £100
A Buyer’s premium of 18% (inclusive of V.A.T.) will be added to the ‘hammer price’.
OUTCOME OF BIDS AND PAYMENT
The latest time for contacting us to determine the outcome of your bids is WEDNESDAY 27th October 2021 and payment in full must be received by us no later than FRIDAY 29th October 2021.
WE DO NOT SEND OUT INVOICES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT US.
POSTAGE, COLLECTION AND DELIVERY
We do not post large, heavy or glazed items. Please contact us before submitting your commission bid(s) if you are unsure of our postal restrictions.
We recommend you contact Mail Boxes Etc. on 01159 472 779 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for the despatch of larger items.
Items purchased can be collected from our storage facility by appointment only.
Any Covid restrictions will be in place.
UNCOLLECTED ITEMS IN OUR STORAGE FACILITY
Our storage unit is being seriously compromised by the number of uncollected items purchased in our previous sales. Those to whom this concerns please be advised that arrangements must be made for all uncollected purchases to be removed from our storage facility by the end of November 2021. After this date they will cease to be insured and we will accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to any item remaining uncollected.
Please also note that after November 30th. 2021 storage charges of £1.00 per day per item will be charged.
Our vendor commission rate is still only 10% + V.A.T.
There are no other ‘hidden’ charges.

We are now accepting items for our next auction.
We will travel to collect items as long as we are able to do so safely under any Covid 19 restrictions.
