Cast aluminium Locomotive Nameplate “William Cookworthy” as carried by the BR Type 3 Class 37DE No. 37675 previously 37164 and D6864. The loco was built by English Electric / Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns in August 1963 and named in May 1987. As the name implies she was a very popular West Country china clay locomotive. The nameplate is 73in. long, in ex-loco condition and is accompanied by the EWS certificate of authenticity. |

The fusee movement has been overhauled. Records show that it was originally located in the Clerks Office, Exeter Central then transferred to the Foreman’s Office at Exmouth Junction Engine Shed. A fine little clock complete with pendulum and key. |
