502 GWR Centenary Banquet Souvenir in the form of a wood and card model of the 4-2-2 Locomotive “Lord of the Isles”. The banquet was held on the 30th. Oct. 1935 at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. HRH The Prince of Wales was guest of honour. All male table guests were given these souvenirs complete with a cigar in the firebox, cigarette in the chimney and a match book on top of the boiler. V.g.c. and scarce. SOLD FOR

506 A full size working copy of a Great Western Railway 3 aspect copper top Handlamp of recent manufacture by Heatherington’s of Birmingham. Complete with all fittings and glasses including “GWR” etched front lens. These lamps were produced as a limited edition in 2006 by Heatherington’s to mark their 150th anniversary. SOLD FOR

510 BR(S) cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “34004” as carried by the Bulleid West Country Class Pacific “Yeovil”. Built at Brighton and into traffic June 1945, being re-built in Feb. 1958. It was allocated to Exmouth Junction, Bricklayers Arms, Stewarts Lane, Eastleigh, Bournemouth and Weymouth w/d from the latter July 1967 and cut up by Cashmores, Newport. The plate is in fine ex-loco condition with the original fixing bolts still in place. (See next lot). SOLD FOR
