457 Great Western Railway single aspect Safety Lamp brass plated “N. Fairclough Oil Gas Works Wormwood Scrubbs GWR” on the curved top, which hinges forward to reveal the interior burner assembly. Original red paintwork with gauze over the vents for safety. “West London Oil Gas Works” is faintly painted on the side. Complete with all fittings and glass. A rare lamp in fine original condition. Allocated to Bath Green Park, Derby, Birkenhead and Mold Junction. W/d Nov. 1967 and cut up by Cashmores, Great Bridge. During the period at Bath Green Park the loco was a regular performer over the S&DJR photographed many times by Ivo Peters and others. SOLD FOR

473 Chromed cast brass Locomotive Leasing Plate “This Locomotive is the property of English Electric Leasing Limited”. As carried by the BR Type 4 Co-Co Class 50 No. D414 later 50014. Built April 1968 by English Electric Vulcan Foundry (3784 / D115) and named “Warspite” in May 1978. The loco was w/d Dec. 1987 from Laira and cut up by Vic Berry, Leicester. The plate is in ex-loco condition with “50014” marked on the back. SOLD FOR
