1 LSWR 4 aspect Handlamp with side door stamped in the top brass ring “Broadclyst” and in the body “L&SWR Co. 33”. Brass plated “E” and “6/67A”. Complete with “L&SWR” vessel & reflector all fittings and glasses and in v.g.c. Devoid of paint. SOLD FOR
2 GWR brass cased Locomotive “Oil Gauge to valves and pistons”. 8.25in. dia. and on a wooden mount. Gauge is back painted “Ex-7921 Edstone Hall obtained from derelict loco in Risca Sidings 6th. August 1964”. SOLD FOR
3 “SR Monthly Bulletin” enamel Notice Board Header. Some face restoration well executed. Very good colour and shine. 52in. long and screwed to a wooden board. SOLD FOR
4 “L & SWR Passengers must cross line by bridge” cast iron Notice. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
5 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “71B” (Bournemouth). Ex-loco condition. BR(S) Eastleigh triangle to the back. n/s
6 Southern Railway enamel Station Target Sign “Fareham”. Restoration to edges and top of ‘A’. Good colour and shine. A former LSWR station between Portsmouth and Southampton. SOLD FOR
7 “London, Brighton & South Coast Railway 8020 to carry 8 tons” fully titled oval cast iron Wagon Plate. Unrestored. 14.75x9in. SOLD FOR
8 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Number Plate “31906” as carried by the Southern Railway U1 Class 2-6-0 built at Eastleigh in 1931 and in BR days allocated to Stewarts Lane, Tonbridge, Nine Elms and Norwood Junction. It was w/d from the latter in Dec. 1962 and cut up at Eastleigh. The loco had a claim to fame when during March 1954 it was one of two U1’s trialled over the Somerset & Dorset Line working between Bath and Bournemouth. Photographs of it appear in Ivo Peters S&D books. The smokebox plate is in v.g.c. and in ex-loco paintwork. SOLD FOR
9 MR Carriage & Wagon Dept. Handlamp used on the S&DJR at Midsomer Norton. Brass plate to chimney “Midland Railway Co.” Original paintwork to body “C&W Dept. No. 17 Mid. S. Norn.” Complete with all fittings including glass and S&D marked vessel. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
10 GWR 9in. cast iron Letters “Dawlish Warren” from the station Running In Board. One of the letters ‘N’ has been repaired otherwise all in v.g.c. SOLD FOR

12 Pressed Aluminium Road Sign “Eastleigh Road”. An iconic name unrestored. 46in. long. n/s
13 A Collection of Somerset & Dorset Railway whole Edmonson Travel Tickets. Pre & post group and BR. 212 in total together with 69 return half tickets and 7 paper tickets. A fine collection housed in an album with slip case. All tickets are loose mounted. SOLD FOR
14 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Lingfield”. A few re-touched chips towards the edges. Good colour and shine. A former LB&SCR station north east of Grinstead. n/s

16 Oval cast iron Locomotive Worksplate “Built 1954 Swindon” face restored only. 10.5x6in. As carried by a BR Standard Class Loco from the following: 2-6-2T 82020 – 82031, 4-6-0 75025 – 75029, 2-6-0 77000 – 77019. SOLD FOR
17 South Eastern & Chatham Railway wooden Carriage Board “London, Chatham, Canterbury”. Original painted condition 114in. long and a very scarce survivor. SOLD FOR
18 Oval engraved brass Locomotive Worksplate “Peckett & Sons 1910 No. 1219 Bristol”. Remains of red infill to engraving. Captive bolts still to the back. Face lightly polished only. 11.5×8.25in. As carried by the 0-6-0ST. new to Henry Stobart & Co. Etherley, Bishop Auckland. To Thorne Colliery, Doncaster in 1931, taken over by the NCB in Jan 1947. In 1963 it went to Carcroft Central Workshops and returned to Thorne circa 1965. Scrapped in August 1968. SOLD FOR
19 BR(W) double royal letterpress Poster “Western Region Car Tourist Services to Devon and Cornwall”. Featuring a front image of a locomotive and motor car reg. no. “GWR 1”. V.g.c. with no folds. SOLD FOR

21 “Southern” double royal enamel Poster Board Header 26in. long. Restoration to edges & to tops of ‘O’, ‘U’ & ‘E’. “Ex- St. Helens I.O.W.” is marked on the back. Good colour & shine. SOLD FOR
22 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “88A” (Cardiff Cathays, then Canton, finally Cardiff East Dock. Restored only a while ago. SOLD FOR
23 Two Great Western Railway Carriage Photo Panels by the Photochrom Company. “Near Monmouth. Wyaston Lees” & “Hereford Cathedral from Wye Meadows”. Both in original type glazed frames. (2). SOLD FOR
24 Chromed brass Locomotive Builders Plate “English Electric Co. Ltd. Stephenson Works Darlington No. 3365 / 8408 of 1963” as carried by the BR Class 3 DE Loco D6887 later 37187 and 37683. The loco was cut up at Rotherham in Feb. 2013. Note that this is one of the rarer “Stephenson Works” lettered plates. SOLD FOR

26 Taff Vale Railway “23” cast iron Milepost Top 11.75in. dia. with a tubular base for fixing atop a post. Unrestored. SOLD FOR

29 Great Western Railway 3 aspect ‘Reform Patent’ Handlamp. Bearing an oval brass plate “The Reform Lighting Co. Patent London”. The body is stamped “GWR” and beneath the old green paint is marked “Grade 1 Porter”. The words “red” and “green” are stamped on the aspect drum. Complete with all fittings including “GWR” burner and all glasses. Superb original condition. SOLD FOR

31 BR(W) cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Number Plate “2871” as carried by the GWR 2-8-0 introduced in 1903. The loco was allocated to Westbury and Taunton in BR days w/d May 1963 and cut up at Cashmores, Newport. Ex-loco condition. SOLD FOR

33 Southern Railway quad royal pictorial Poster “Ramsgate” by Allinson. A vibrant harbour and promenade scene. One very tiny edge loss and a small loss to lower right corner otherwise folds and good condition. SOLD FOR
34 “South African Railways / Suid Afrikaanse Spoorwee 3113 15F” cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate in ex-loco condition as carried by the 15F Class 4-8-2 built by NBL Co. in 1947. Works No. 25997. SOLD FOR
35 “S.E.R. Loco Dept. 2” brass Magnifying Glass on a turned ebonised handle. A previous soldered repair to the stem but a fine early piece with engraved title. 5.5in. long. SOLD FOR
36 “GWR Hotels” silver plated circular Waiter’s Tray by Walker & Hall. Top marked with title within fluted decoration. V.g.c. 12in. dia. SOLD FOR
37 Pair of “GWR Hotels” silver plated Sugar Bowls by Walker & Hall and Elkington featuring different size roundel titles. Both v.g.c. with gilded linings. SOLD FOR
38 BR enamel Signal Box Nameboard “Alderbury Junction” from the junction of lines to Romsey / Southampton and West Moors / Bournemouth south of Salisbury. The latter closing in May 1964. Alderbury was unusual in that it was provided with a staff only platform for the convenience of signalmen and their families based at the isolated junction. The sign is in good condition 96x12in. 39 “Midland Railway Company Derby” cast iron Boiler Surround Ring or similar 20.9in. diameter x 1.75in wide. A hairline crack after the word ‘Railway’ welded at the back. Scarce item, unrestored. SOLD FOR
40 Cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “The Needles” as carried by the H2 Class Brighton Atlantic built in 1911 No. 2423. It was w/d from Brighton in May 1949 the first of the class to be withdrawn. Face restored only 40.25in. long. The rocky outcrop known as The Needles lie off the west coast of the Isle of Wight. SOLD FOR

42 Southern Railway fully titled cast iron Trespass Notice in unrestored condition. SOLD FOR

44 Pair of “SNCF” Handlamps fuelled by Acetylene: A 3 aspect example plated “Chateauroux” and a general purpose type in brass by Albert Butin of Paris. (2). SOLD FOR
45 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Vauxhall” in superb condition. From the former LSWR station first stop south of Waterloo. n/s

49 Great Western Railway mahogany cased Mantel Clock with beaded edge decoration. The original 3.25in. dial is lettered “GWR 0399”. V.g.c. and working order. 13in. long x 6.5in. tall on brass ball feet. Complete with captive key. SOLD FOR
