449 Original Painting by Frank Johnson depicting a scene in Crewe Works Erecting Shop with Pacific No. 46252 “City of Leicester” receiving attention from the fitters. An interesting view painted in 1987 by the artist who’s work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy. He also taught David Hockney at the Bradford College of Art! 453 North British Railway Station Platform copper Wall Lamp. The cap clearly marked “N.B.R.” and bears a brass makers plate “J. C. Carrick & Co. Wallace St. Glasgow”. Complete with a vessel with burner and glass chimney, original white enamel back panel, all glazing including white roof panels, rear mounting straps and cast finial. A very attractive lamp 31.5in. tall o/all. sold for

473 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “61021” as carried by the LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 built at Darlington (2001 of 1947) and named “Reitbok”. It was w/d from York June 1967 and cut up by Hughes, Bolckow, North Blyth. The smokebox plate bearing other Class numbers cast in the back has been cleaned otherwise it is ex-loco condition.
