6 Midland Railway mahogany cased Signal Box Rotary Block Instrument in v.g.c. sold for

7 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp with fogging glass brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company Walkeringham No. 1”. Top cap requires re-fitting otherwise it is complete, v.g.c. and unrestored. This was a location on the GN & GE Joint Line north east of Gainsborough. The station here closed in Feb. 1959. sold for

8 LNWR cast iron Notice “Beware of Train”. Face restored only. An unusual sign referring to ‘train’ in the singular. Perhaps sited in Wolverton or Crewe Works? Possibly unique. 18.5x13in. sold for

9 Midland Railway Signal Box Diagram “Skipton North Junction” dated 7.11.1897 on its original wooden backing. The box controlled the lines from Skipton to Colne and the diverging route which by then had become the main line to Carlisle via Settle. Ex-signal box condition. 40x15in. sold for

16 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “43980” as carried by the LMS Class 3F 0-6-0 built in 1920 and shedded at Peterborough & Tebay in BR days. W/d from the latter in July 1957 and cut up at Horwich. The plate is cleaned but unrestored and mounted on a wooden panel with wall hangers. RS
17 North Eastern Railway Station Platform Lamp Top with nameglass “Wormald Green”. Complete with vessel, burner, glass chimney and all glazing panels. Restored 27in. tall. The station was on the Harrogate – Northallerton Line and closed in June 1962. RS
18 LNER cast iron Station Seatback Nameplate “Nottingham Victoria” from the GC & GN Joint station closed in Sept. 1967. The seatback was broken into seven pieces but professionally back welded and mounted onto a wooden back rail so displays very well, the face cleaned otherwise unrestored. 55.25in. long. sold for

23 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builders Plate “Built 1957 Crewe”. Locos built that year were Class 9F 2-10-0 Nos. 92119 – 92162 & 92168 – 92170 and 0-6-0DE Shunters D3419 – 3422 (08349 – 352) so more likely from a 9F, particularly because of the condition which is ex-loco. sold for
