LNER cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Kinross-Shire” as carried by the D49 Class 4-4-0 No. 62718 and named after Scotland’s second smallest county. The engine was built at Darlington in 1928 and numbered 310. A St. Margaret’s loco in BR days it was w/d April 1961 and cut up at Darlington. The plate is face restored only. 57in. long and has a small stress crack to the underside at the centre. | £3000 |
