327 BR(W) double royal letterpress Poster “Reservation of Seats on the Capitals United Express to London from Neath, Port Talbot and Bridgend”. Good condition with no folds.
328 “LMS” embossed Sand Bucket complete with lid. Good ex-service condition.
329 Carriage Print “Peterborough Cathedral, Northamptonshire” by Kenneth Steel from the 1948 – 55 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame.
330 LNER small 3 aspect Locoman’s Handlamp stamped “LNER” and “J. Dennett Hull Loco”. Complete with “LNER” vessel, all fittings and glasses and restored.
331 Lancashire &Yorkshire Railway 4 tier metal Correspondence Rack with bottom drawer. Back panel stamped “L&YR Co” and original painted “L.Y.R.” scroll to face. Very good condition.
332 Great Eastern Railway Policeman’s polished hardwood Truncheon clearly marked “GER 141” and complete with original leather strap. V.g.c.
333 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “31B” (March). Face restored only a while ago.
334 Southern Ry” Marine small fluted glass Tumbler nicely face etched with the title scroll and “SR” house flag. V.g.c. 3.75in. tall.
335 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Session 1913 Book of Plans and Sections. 30x20in. 44 pages in soft titled covers covering 39 different projects throughout the two counties. Central folds otherwise good condition.
336 “L&NWR Co. 59A” cast iron Bridge Numberplate. Very good condition & face restored only.
337 LNER enamel Doorplate “Weigh Office”. Re-touched edge and screwhole chips but very good colour and shine. 19in. long, screwed to hardboard backing.
338 “LMS Airth” wooden handled brass Office Stamp in v.g.c. A former Caledonian station on the Alloa branch closed in Sept. 1954.
339 “Hull & Barnsley Railway” original coloured Plan of Alexandra Docks, Hull advertising “Carriers to and from all Parts”. V.g.c. and in a glazed frame 19x15in. o/all.
340 Great Eastern Rly. 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp with fluted top. Stamped “GER No. 8D” and complete with all fittings and glasses. Back handle removed.
341 World War One mahogany cased Lineman’s Galvanometer. The dial lettered “GEC London, Witton & Manchester England”. Hinged top accesses four Sieman’s batteries to the rear storage area. V.g.c.
342 “London Midland and Scottish Railway” bronze Plaque awarded for success in reducing engine casualties”. The plaque features a Princess Royal Class loco in relief and two brass columns for winners. An attractive Art Deco item on its original ebonised panel with rear support stand. 25x18in. o/all.
343 Original pen and colourwash Painting by G. Wheatley titled “Jinty at Leicester”, depicting the loco on a train of mineral wagons passing a MR signal box. In a glazed frame with card mount. 18.25×16.25in. o/all.
344 North Staffordshire Railway small metal Oil Can clearly marked with “NSR”. V.g.c. and complete with brass screw stopper. 8.25in. tall o/all.
345 “LNER (Railway Engineering) Sheffield” cast iron Plate probably a door plate. V.g.c. and restored. 12x8in.
346 Wilesco Model Marine Engine with spirit fired boiler. As new condition with original box, packaging and operating instructions.
347 Wilesco spirit fired Model Steam Roller “Old Smokey”. Good condition and complete with burner. 13in. long o/all.
348 “GWR Booking Office” Doorplate or Header Panel. Engraved brass plates set into a shaped polished hardwood panel. Stamped “GWR 3” in the back. A most unusual item 13.5×5.75in. o/all.
349 A cast brass Toilet Door Case face embossed “By Royal Letters Patent Lockerbie & Wilkinson Birmingham”. “Engaged / Vacant” enamel slide to the top. Coin box missing from rear.

350 Oval cast brass LNER ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 7136 Rebuilt Stratford Works 1922”. As carried by the GER Class C53 built at Stratford in 1903 No. 136. Became LNER Class J70 No. 7136 later 8217 / 68217. Known as Tram Engines this example worked exclusively on the Wisbech and Upwell Tramway and was scrapped at Stratford in 1953, following storage at March MPD. A rare and desirable plate, face restored and displayed on a framed panel. Photographs of the loco accompany the lot.
351 Wooden cased Signal Box Block Instrument with pegging handle and ivorine “Down Line” plate.
352 “L&Y & L&N.W.Ry. Cos. Fleetwood” silver plated Fish Server by Walker & Hall. 12in. long. Top marked with the garter title. A scarce location for tableware.
353 GWR mahogany drop cased Clock. The ex-service 12in. dial is written “BR-W” and the side bears a “GWR 259” ivorine plate. The chain driven fusee movement is held between shaped brass plates with turned pillars. Complete with pendulum marked “259” and key.
354 Carriage Print “The Conway River & Conway Castle go by train to Conway” by Lander from the LMR 1957 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame.
355 Great Western Railway Side & Tail Lamp embossed “GWR” on the chimney. Complete with all fittings and glasses and in very good ex-service condition.
356 BR(S) painted double sided wooden Station Finger Board “Swanley Bromley South Victoria”. Good original condition 47in. long.
357 LNER double royal pictorial Poster “The Book Lover’s Britain Yarmouth” by Austin Cooper featuring a scene from David Copperfield. Folds and minor edge nicks.
358 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “55H” (Leeds Neville Hill). face restored only.
359 Great Western Railway pre-grouping cast iron Station Doorplate “Booking Office” in fine original condition.
360 Silver Watch Fob with a rose gold centre piece engraved “Scarborough & Whitby 1890”. Ornate scrollwork incorporating mythological fish. Thought to be Scarborough & Whitby Railway.
361 London & North Western Railway cast iron Gate Notice. Nicely restored.
362 Brass Signal Box Plunger Instrument inscribed “Platform Bell”. V.g.c.
363 South African Railways Bi-Lingual cast aluminium Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “33 – 439 33” as carried by a Class 33 Electric Loco. Original ex-loco condition.
364 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Direction Sign with right pointing arrow. V.g.c. with fine colour and shine. 21×10.5in.
365 BR(E) marked Locomotive Headlamp complete with all fittings and glasses. Good unrestored condition.
366 GER textured metal Vesta Match Case bearing a nickel framed sepia photograph of the “Great Eastern Hotel Harwich”. V.g.c.
367 South African Railways cast brass Locomotive Tender Numberplate “2298”. Polished only. 7x4in. As carried by the ‘GM’ 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 Beyer Garratt built by Beyer Peacock (6890 of 1938).
368 Great Western Railway cross cut Saw. The wooden handle branded both sides “GWR Gas Works”. Good used condition. 30in. long.
369 Carriage Print “During Black-Out Blinds must be kept down. Light in this compartment will dim when the train is standing whether at a station or not”. Scarce WW2 survivor, in a glazed frame.
370 “GWR & LSWR 1909 Boundary” so headed GWR pattern Boundary Post on a short length of broad gauge rail. A handy 14.75in. tall. The head 7.75in. dia.
371 “BR-WR Pilotman” embroidered cloth Armband complete with all straps and buckle together with a “GWR Pilotman” example with one buckle detached but present (2).
372 Midsummer Models Limited Edition die cast Model of Burrell Road Locomotive No. 2789 “The President”. Well detailed and finished 10in. long o/all. As new condition complete with original box and all packaging.
