1 Newcastle upon Tyne and Carlisle Railway original printed Notice regarding the use of locomotive engines etc. Dated March 28th. 1835. V.g.c. 17.5×11.5in. A rare survivor. sold for £40
2 BR(E) Great Eastern pattern Locomotive ‘ Stop’ Lamp in fine ex-service condition but lacks vessel. Painted “Stop” both sides and “D. Hammond Elect.” Lamp iron bracket to one end. sold for £65
3 County Donegal Railway cast iron Luggage Rack Bracket incorporating the “CDR” monogram. Very good original condition. 10in. projection. sold for £55
4 Carriage Print “Durham” by Sidney Causer from the LNER 1945 – 47 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. sold for £50
5 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builder’s Plate “Hudswell Clarke & Co. Ltd. Railway Foundry Leeds England No. D1257 1962”. “D13” is stencilled on the back. Fine ex-loco condition. 12.75×8.25in. sold for £440
6 Great Central Railway silver plated Sugar Bowl from the company steamship S.S. “Bury”. Superbly face inscribed with the company “Forward” scroll and crest below a further scroll inscribed “Bury”. A fine item in v.g.c. sold for £160
7 Original Painting by A.W. Gibson titled “Hayling Billy on Langstone Bridge” and depicting the Brighton Terrier and its two coaches on the iconic structure. A charming image. Oil on board and unframed. 16x8in. sold for £30
8 ”Great Northern & London & North Western Railway Joint Committee” cast iron Trespass Notice. Dated February 1885. V.g.c. and face restored only. sold for £420
9 “LMS Blair Atholl” wooden handled brass Office Stamp in v.g.c. A former Highland Railway main line station. sold for £140
10 BR(E) flangeless enamel Station Doorplate “Foreman”. Very light edge wear only and with fine deep colour and shine. sold for £340
11 Southern Railway Electric one pint Drinking Glass face etched with the “SR” initials and electric flash. V.g.c. Together with a “GWR Hotels” glass tumbler nicely face etched. V.g.c. (2). n/s
12 Signal Box mahogany cased Block Gong with tapper. V.g.c. and ex-box condition. sold for £60
13 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builder’s Plate “Built 1957 Crewe”. Restored 10.25×5.8in. Locos built that year were BR Standard 9F 2-10-0 Nos. 92119 – 162, 92168 – 170 and 0-6-0 DE Shunters Nos. D3419 – 22. So most likely from a 9F. sold for £160
14 BR(S) quad royal Poster without text and laid on hardboard. Terence Cuneo’s iconic image of a very busy Clapham Junction with steam, diesel and electric locos / trains on view. V.g.c. 50x40in. sold for £80

16 Carriage Print “Glen Tanner, near Aboyne, Aberdeenshire” by Lance Cattermole. From the 1956-57 Scottish Region series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. sold for £50
17 BR(E) 3 aspect Handlamp with brass plate “London & North Eastern Railway Colwick Pass.” complete with all fittings and glasses and unrestored. V.g.c. sold for £75
18 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway cast iron Signal Finial 24.5in tall. V.g.c. and restored. sold for £85
19 Coloured Signal Box Diagram “Trowse Swing Bridge.” (Norfolk). Fair condition and in a glazed frame. 39×17.25in. overall, ready to hang. sold for £420
20 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “8H” (Birkenhead). Ex-loco condition. sold for £130
21 Wooden cased wall mounting Magneto Telephone complete with handset, writing shelf and ringing key. V.g.c. n/s
22 Cast iron shield shaped Crane Plate “Butters Brothers Engineers Glasgow 10 ton”. Face restored only 10×8.75in. The company manufactured Derrick Cranes. sold for £40
23 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “51L” (Thornaby). Cleaned otherwise ex-loco condition. sold for £60
24 Great Northern Railway enamel Station Sign “Grantham”. Possibly part of a poster board or notice board header. A strip of enamel loss as per the photo but very good colour and shine. In a painted wooden frame 49×7.8in. o/all. Scarce. sold for £120
25 Three brass cased Pressure Gauges mounted on a mahogany panel. Two are lettered “LMS” including “Warming Pipe”, the other “BR(M)” calibrated for loco boiler pressure. V.g.c. Board measures 21x9in. sold for £170

26 37mm dia. nickel Medal commemorating the opening of the infamous Tay Bridge in June 1887”. The medal shows a panoramic view of the structure with the arms of the City of Dundee on the reverse. V.g.c. sold for £70
27 North British Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “5343 NBR” and brass plated “Hendry Brothers Great Clyde Street Glasgow”. Complete with rape oil vessel, all fittings and glasses (apple green aspect cracked. A nice example unpainted and unrestored. sold for £80
28 North Eastern Railway Police Miscellany: A slightly worn decorated truncheon, leather belt with “NER Police” clasp, tapered tubular nickel whistle and temperance certificate with membership card. sold for £140
29 The English Electric Co. Ltd. etched brass Diesel Locomotive Equipment Plates 1966 & 1965. Ex-BR Class 37 Nos. 37167 and 37371. 6×3.5in. each. (2). sold for £210
30 Original Painting by Guild of Railway Artists Member Joe Townend depicting a work stained ‘WD’ 2-8-0 No. 90028 on a train of mineral wagons approaching Peterborough. Oil on canvas. Unframed. 24x20in. n/s

33 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “61195” as carried by the LNER ‘B1’ 4-6-0 built by NBL Co. (26096 of 1947). A long term Immingham loco, spending its last 5 months at Frodingham. W/d Nov. 1965 and cut up at Draper’s, Hull. Totally ex-loco condition as purchased by our vendor from BR in 1965. sold for £560
34 South Eastern Railway Company Boundary Post. A length of rail 47in. long incised “SER” both sides at the top. A scarce post from the pre 1898 company. sold for £210
35 “Horsham” and “Reading” Station Train Indicator Board Enamels. Edge and screwhole service wear otherwise good. 12in. long each. (2). sold for £65
36 Great Eastern Railway Dining Cars silver plated Egg Cup and integral Tray. Nicely face marked “GER DC” below the company bats wing device. V.g.c. sold for £95
37 Miniature aluminium Single Line Staff “Boyle-Ballymote”. ‘B’ configuration. V.g.c. sold for £95
38 Original Book of linen Plans of track diagrams in the Peterborough area. 29 sheets in board covers 26×15.5in. mainly GNR with a few LNER / BTC and one M&GN. Covers ECML Peterboro to Stoke and lines around Peterboro’ East. V.g.c. sold for £270

40 LNER double royal letterpress Poster “Wembley Third Class Weekly Season Tickets. Between Marylebone Wembley Hill and exhibition stations May 1925. Losses to corners outside the border. sold for £85
41 Small “LMS” Handbell with a turned fruitwood handle. Complete with clapper. 9.5in. tall. n/s
42 Carriage Print “Immingham Docks, Lincolnshire” by Frank Mason from the LNER 1947 series. A file copy in v.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. sold for £90
43 Great Northern Railway Signal Lamp Interior plated “Spital Junc. P’boro” (i.e. Peterborough). Complete with all fittings and glasses. V.g.c. and unrestored. sold for £40
44 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Templecombe”. Two small re-touched face chips otherwise v.g.c. with fine colour and shine. A former LSWR main line station and important junction for S&DJR lines. sold for £1550
45 LNER clear glass small Rum Bottle with screw cap and bearing its original titled and priced label. V.g.c. 5in. tall. sold for £130
46 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “84B” (Oxley). Face restored. Chalked on the back is “6803” which was “Bucklebury Grange”. The plate presumably removed from the loco when the depot code changed to 2B. sold for £190
47 Engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “The Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd. Leeds Diesel Locomotive 42hp No. 6676 1967”. New to Silksworth Colliery, Sunderland No. 157. Then to Derwenthaugh Loco Shed, Swalwell in April 1972. Unrestored 5x4in. sold for £55
