Cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Leviathan” as carried by the LMS ‘Jubilee’ Class 4-6-0 No. 45704. Built at Crewe in 1936 it was a Carlisle Kingmoor, Edge Hill, Camden, Rugby and Crewe North loco in BR days, withdrawn from the latter in Jan 1965 and cut up at Cashmore’s, Great Bridge. This is the right hand nameplate, face restored only and a resounding Warship name. 29in. long. |
