351 North Eastern Railway pattern Locomotive Headlamp. Complete with all fittings and glass and in v.g.c. Uncommon. SOLD FOR
352 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway purpose made Cigarette Lighter by a company employee. Formed out of a hexagonal brass nut, two large uniform buttons and fitted with a capped wick and flint wheel. Very ingenious. SOLD FOR
353 “London Midland & Scottish Ry Private Road” cast iron Notice “Notice is hereby given to owners and drivers of locomotives etc.” that this bridge is insufficient to carry weights beyond the ordinary traffic of the district”. A scarce notice, face restored only a while ago. 26.75×19.75in. SOLD FOR

355 Great Western Railway small enamel Advertising Sign “To Ireland by the New Fishguard Route”. Some very well executed restoration to present a fine looking sign. Very desirable in this size 15×11.5in. SOLD FOR
356 GNSR Fire Brigade Fireman’s single aspect Handlamp by Merryweather or Shand Mason. Brass plate to rear “Great North of Scotland Railway Company No. 1” Complete with fittings and glass and handle sleeved in leather. A very scarce lamp possibly from the Fire Department at Inverurie Works. SOLD FOR
357 Leather Cash Bag brass plated “LNER Swinhead (sic) & Boston”. V.g.c. and complete with “LNER” brass closing disc. SOLD FOR
358 “Robin Hood Terrace” cast iron Nottingham Street Sign. V.g.c. & unrestored. 61.5in. long. SOLD FOR
359 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Penmaenmawr”. Very minor chips and light scuffs only. Very good colour and shine. A former LNWR North Wales coast station between Conway and Bangor. SOLD FOR
360 “Caledonian Ry. Co.” cast iron Wagon Registration Plate “1919 to carry 10 tons 26562” together with its matching “Gnly. Repaired by W.R. Ltd. CR 26562 4 – 1946” cast iron plate. Both in v.g.c. and face restored. (2). n/s
361 Painted double sided wooden Station Direction Board “Hebden Bridge, Sowerby Bridge, Halifax, Bradford (Ex)”. Very good original condition. 54.5in. long. SOLD FOR

363 Two item of Tableware from the Midland Hotel, Morecambe: A china saucer bearing the seahorse design by Royal Cauldon base marked “LM & S Hotels” and a silver plated teaspoon by Elkington top marked with the hotel title in a ‘zig-zag’ format scroll. Both in excellent condition. (2). SOLD FOR

369 Japanese oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Japan Assn. of Railway Ind. Maker Kisha Seizo Kaisha 1949 Loco No. 118 Manuf. No. 2-88”. Face polished only. 11×5.9in. SOLD FOR
370 Fibre Single Line Tablet “Garforth – Allerton Main 25”. A former NER colliery branch off the Leeds to Selby line. SOLD FOR
371 Enamel Advertising Sign “Rinso soaks the clothes thats all! Saves coal every wash day”. General edgewear and some corrosion losses to top edge. Very good colour and shine. 24x18in. SOLD FOR
372 A display of cast iron Signal Box Lever Description Plates (15 LNER and one GER). A well arranged display to form a continuous run 50in. long and ready to wall hang. All originate from a former Great Eastern Railway signal box. SOLD FOR
373 London & North Western Railway Splitter Lamp. Top and body are marked “LNWR”, the latter also numbered “1783”. Complete with all fittings and bullseye lens and large hook handle. Unrestored and scarce. SOLD FOR
374 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “56G” (Bradford Hammerton Street). Restored. SOLD FOR
375 Cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Leviathan” as carried by the LMS ‘Jubilee’ Class 4-6-0 No. 45704. Built at Crewe in 1936 it was a Carlisle Kingmoor, Edge Hill, Camden, Rugby and Crewe North loco in BR days, withdrawn from the latter in Jan 1965 and cut up at Cashmore’s, Great Bridge. This is the right hand nameplate, face restored only and a resounding Warship name. 29in. long. n/s
376 Carriage Print “Hastings, Sussex” by Frank Sherwin from the 1956 Southern Region series. A scarce print in v.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
377 LNER cast iron Platform Seatback Nameplate “Copgrove”. Restored 27.75in. long. A former NER station between Knaresborough and Boroughbridge closed in Sept. 1950. SOLD FOR
378 Cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Vulcan Foundry Limited Newton-le-Willows Lancashire No. 3876, 1925”. As carried by the Uganda Railways Class 24 No. 2452. SOLD FOR
379 Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway double sided Carriage Board “Smoking”, repainted both sides. Bronze end caps inscribed “LYR”. V.g.c. 36in. long. SOLD FOR
380 GNR small 3 aspect Handlamp date stamped for Oct. 1913. Brass plate to body “London & North Eastern Railway Hatfield 7”. The location in GNR embossed style. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR
381 A Southern Railway Signalling Aid comprising a fibre case with magnetic panels to interior and lid and a large number of painted wooden images of signals, trackwork, locos (unre-built Pacifics) and coaches etc. each with magnetic contacts. A most interesting item the like of which we have not seen before. Original condition throughout. Case measures 16x13x2in. Must be viewed to appreciate. SOLD FOR
382 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “60928” as carried by the LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 built at Doncaster in 1941. A Doncaster regular engine it was w/d from there in March 1962 and cut up at the works. The plate is face restored and mounted on a mahogany board. SOLD FOR
383 “Forest of Dean Tramroad Rail Chair” so labelled cast iron Chair embossed “GWR Sn”. Mounted on a textured, painted fibreglass base. Ex-museum display. SOLD FOR
384 BR(E) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Brimsdown”. A re-touched chip to the lower panel otherwise minor re-touched edge chips only. Fine deep colour and shine. A former GER station on the Liverpool Street – Cambridge line. SOLD FOR
385 “Glasgow & South Western Railway Steamers” silver plated Salt Spoon and Sugar Tongs by Walker & Hall. Both items top marked with the full company title and heraldic devices. V.g.c. (2). SOLD FOR
386 Axholme Joint Railway Oil Storage Container stamped “LYR” and brass plated “Haxey Station A.J. Rly. via Goole Petroleum”. Complete with twin handles and screw cap. Restored. 22.5in. tall. This station closed to passengers in July 1933. SOLD FOR
387 North Eastern Railway Waiting Room / Office Wall Lamp bearing a “NER” oval brass plate and complete with burner, reflector and glass chimney. SOLD FOR

394 A circular Baby’s Feeding Plate bearing an image of a LB&SCR locomotive hauled train emerging from a castellated tunnel portal. An early piece by Shelley China 8.4in. diam. G.c. SOLD FOR
395 Southern Railway enamel Station Target Sign “Chandlers Ford”. Restoration to enamel losses but decent colour and shine. A former LSWR station between Romsey and Eastleigh closed in May 1969. SOLD FOR

397 Rectangular cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Sir Armstrong Whitworth & Co. (Engineers) Ltd. Scotswood Works Newcastle on Tyne No. 1306 1936”. Face restored and very lightly polished. The back cleaned. As carried by the LMS ‘Black Five’ 4-6-0 No. 45251. A Glasgow Corkerhill & Ardrossan loco w/d Dec. 1963 & cut up by Barnes & Bell, Coatbridge. SOLD FOR
398 GNR Somersault Signal Lamp Case brass plated “Great Northern Railway No. 16138” and “Adwick Jun.” with correct interior lamp. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored. A West Riding & Grimsby Joint Line location north west of Doncaster. SOLD FOR
399 Great Northern Railway Somersault Signal Lamp Interior brass plated “GNR”, “Quarry Gap” & “21”. Complete & unrestored. A location east of Bradford, junction for Shipley. SOLD FOR
400 BR(W) cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “7322”. Restored. As carried by the 43XX Class 2-6-0 built in 1932. A South Wales engine until transfer to Gloucester Horton Road and withdrawn from there in Nov. 1961 followed by cutting up at Swindon. SOLD FOR
