68 Engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “London North Eastern Railway Co. No. 1599 Doncaster 1924”. As carried by the J50 Class 0-6-0T No. 3240 / 8939 / 68939. Sheds include Ardsley and Wakefield from where it was withdrawn in Oct. 1962 followed by scrapping at Doncaster Works. A fine worksplate with “3240” stamped and chiselled in the back. SOLD FOR

86 Cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Revenge” as carried by the LMS ‘Jubilee’ Class 4-6-0 No. 45714. Built at Crewe in 1936 and allocated to Carlisle Kingmoor for much of the BR period. It was w/d from Carnforth in July 1963 and cut up at Cowlairs Works. The plate is face restored only. 28.75in. long. and is from the right hand side of the loco. SOLD FOR

87 Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Rly. 12 inch round head Wall Clock. The ex-service dial is written “BR(E) 8822” with clear ghost writing below “Wm McFerran Manchester MS&L 682”. A chain driven fusee movement is set within ‘A’ shaped brass plates and the bottom door with brass latch retains an original label showing the location of the clock as Market Rasen signal box. Complete with pendulum and key. SOLD FOR
