124 Midland Railway 12 inch oak drop cased Wall Clock. The dial re-painted “John Smith & Sons Midland Clock Works Queen St. Derby”. Oval brass plate to the side “LMS 12186”. The clock features plain side ears, a cut-out lenticle in the drop case framed with carved leaves and fruit (minor losses), and a wire driven fusee movement. It was last in service somewhere within the Derby Works complex and was last overhauled by the late Ian Lyman. sold for
