486 Replica cast brass LNER ‘A3’ Class 4-6-2 Locomotive Nameplate “Bayardo” (2578 / 60079). A finely cast plate produced without the rear brackets 57in. long. (See next lot). sold for
487 Reproduction cast aluminium ‘A3’ Class Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “60079”. sold for
488 BR(WR) double royal pictorial Poster “Aberystwyth” by Harry Riley. 3 light horizontal folds, a few worm holes to the edges and grubby. sold for
489 LNER oval cast brass ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 61438 Darlington 1923”. As carried by the B16 4-6-0 shedded at York and Hull Dairycoates in BR days. Withdrawn June 1964 and cut up by Draper’s, Hull. sold for
490 LNER (GER pattern) 3 aspect sliding knobs Handlamp stamped “LNE-E Stratford DSO” (District. Supt. Office) and date coded 1938. Complete with LNE-E vessel, all fittings, back handle and glasses (blue broken). Devoid of paint. sold for
491 An elliptical brass Milk Churn Label with associations to the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway. Inscribed “Joseph Harrison Empty Blencow Station Cumberland CK&P Ry. Co.” v.g.c. 7.25×3.5in. sold for
492 “GER Makers 1887 Stratford Works” oval cast iron Coach Plate. An early example nicely face restored only, but a little distorted. sold for
493 An ornately shaped brass Plate formed from part of a Midland Railway Signal Lever Plate stamped “J. Westmoreland Signal Lineman M.GN Spalding”. 80x36mm. sold for
494 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “41J” (Langwith). Restored. sold for
495 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “48558” as carried by the LMS 8F 2-8-0 built at Darlington in 1945 (Works No. 1965) and on loan to the LNER. Then to the LMS in 1947. Into BR service at Buxton followed by Widnes, Buxton again, Warrington, Aintree and Rose Grove where withdrawal came in October 1965. It was stored at Glasgow Eastfield for three months and cut up at Campbell’s, Airdrie in March 1966. n/s
496 Single Line wooden Train Staff with brass plates “Tyw.yn” and “Morfa Mawddach”. Very good condition. 16.25in long. The locations were formerly “Towyn” and “Barmouth Junction”. sold for
497 London & North Western Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “L&NWR Car. Dept. Wolverton” and “Bromboro Coaching 15257” the floor date stamped “1877”. Complete with “LMS” vessel, all fittings and glasses and restored. A nice early lamp from this Birkenhead Joint location. sold for
498 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builder’s Plate “LMS Built 1938 Crewe”. Lightly face restored only. Locos built that year were Class 3P 2-6-2T Nos. 40196 – 209, Class 8F 2-8-0 Nos. 48096/7 and all the ‘Duchess’ Pacifics Nos. 46225 – 29 & 46230 – 34 of which the first batch were built streamlined. sold for
499 “Great Northern Railway” fully titled cast iron Notice “The public must not cross the line on the level but by the bridge. By order”. A very rare sign face painted only. 22x12in. sold for
500 “Refreshment Rooms Perth” so marked one pint Teapot by Lovatt of Langley Mill. Complete with lid. Some very well executed restoration to the base. Perth was a HR, NBR and Caledonian Railway Joint station. sold for
501 LNER (GNR pattern) 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Potato Market 2”. Complete with original vessel, all fittings and glasses and restored. sold for
502 “GN & GE 103” cast iron Bridge Plate. Face restored only. From a structure named Auckley Bridge, west of Finningley. sold for
503 Glasgow & South Western Railway brown leather Belt retaining its original nickel buckle inscribed “G & S. W. Raily.” V.g.c. sold for

505 Three brass Oil can Labels “Petroleum Oil for long burning lamps” marked “Lowestoft Central”, “Beccles” and “Cockfield”. (3). sold for
506 Oval cast brass Builder’s Plate “John Fowler & Co. (Leeds) Limd. Steam Plough Works Leeds No. 6137”. With ornate leading letters. Very good condition and unpainted. 12.75×7.5in. As carried by a traction engine or ploughing engine built between 1888 and 1890. sold for

508 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “1A” (Willesden). Face restored only. sold for
509 BR(SR) fully flanged enamel Station Direction Sign. Re-touched chips to bottom edge and very small ones to the totem. Good colour and shine. 21×10.5in. sold for
510 LNER two tone blue china Milk / Cream Tot by Dudson with applied decoration to the body. Base marked in ornate style “LNER”. Very good condition. 2.25in. tall. n/s
511 LNER oval cast brass ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 5922 Darlington Works 1926”. Cleaned otherwise ex-loco condition as carried by the J38 Class 0-6-0 shedded at St. Margaret’s and Thornton Junction in BR days. It was withdrawn from the latter in October 1966 and cut up by Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co., Wishaw. sold for
