Shedded at March, Mexborough, Colwick and New England it was w/d May 1963 and cut up at Doncaster. The smokebox is in fine ex-loco condition as purchased direct from BR by our vendor. sold for

39 Cast aluminium Locomotive Builders Plate “Beyer Peacock (Hymek) Ltd. Serial No. 7968 Manchester 1962 Diesel Engine Bristol Siddeley Coventry. Transmission J. Stone & Co. Deptford”. Face repainted Rail Blue, the back superb ex-loco retaining original loco green paintwork. 12.75x5in. As carried by the BR Class 35 Diesel Loco No. D7064 built Jan. 1963 and w/d Oct. 1971. It was cut up at BREL Swindon in Sept. 1972. (See next lot). sold for

40 An ‘O’ gauge electric Model of the BR ‘Hymek’ Diesel Locomotive No. D7064. Featuring a plastic body on cast brass bogies with steel wheels. The model is well detailed with cab fittings, glazed windows, individual number & worksplates, air horns, sandboxes, roof fan, reporting numbers, air hoses and sprung buffers etc. Finished in 2 tone green with white window surrounds.
