459 GWR Station Master’s Office wooden veneered Mantle Clock, the company initials showing on the 6in. dial. Below the base is a “GWR 3032” ivorine plate. The clock stands on three sturdy feet has a strong brass bezel and measures 12x9in. Some veneer losses in service. An escapement movement in working order with key. Reputedly from Frome. SOLD FOR

The lamp was located on the signal gantry at Yeovil Junction station. The last such structure on the South Western system. SOLD FOR

464 LB&SCR 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated top and body “Per Way Inspector Engineers Dept. Groombridge”. Top also has “B” disc and the body bears the full company title brass plate. Complete with all fittings and glasses and devoid of paint. A fine lamp indeed, the station west of Tunbridge Wells closed in July 1985. SOLD FOR

488 BR(W) cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “7713” as carried by the ‘57XX’ 0-6-0PT built by Kerr Stuart & Co. in 1930, one of only 25 Panniers built by this firm. A Stourbridge and Taunton engine in BR days, w/d from the latter in Aug. 1962 and cut up at Swindon Works. The plate is in fine ex-loco condition. SOLD FOR
