151 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “82G” (Templecombe). Face restored only a while ago. SOLD FOR

152 Smokebox Numberplate “30327” as carried by ex-LSWR 700 Class 0-6-0 built by Dubs & Co. in June 1897 (Works No. 3532) and numbered 709, later 327. A Guildford, Salisbury and Exmouth Jct. Loco in BR days. It was w/d from the latter in May 1961 and cut up at Eastleigh Works the following month. The face re-painted. The back with BR(S) Eastleigh triangle has weld repairs not really visible from the front. SOLD FOR

153 Southern Railway double striped linen Seat Antimacassar bearing two “SR” embroidered roundels together with a plain linen 2nd. Class “SR” similar and an ornate 1st. Class “SR” example with fine crochet worked borders. All in v.g.c. (3). SOLD FOR

157 Circular double sided brass Pass “Sir J.J. Ltd. War Dept. Workmens Train 779 / Salisbury to Codford or Hettesbury” (sic). 2in. dia. It refers to Sir John Jackson Ltd. who supplied workers as WW1 hut erectors in the Wylye Valley in 1914 for the 35,000 troops encamped in the area. There were two trains from Salisbury in the morning and two returning in the evening for the workers. SOLD FOR

160 Great Western Railway Miners Lamp clearly marked “GWR 241” on the chimney. Complete with all brass fittings and a cracked glass. The GWR had its own mine in South Wales at Cilely Tonyrefail and this is a rare survivor. SOLD FOR

176 GWR cast iron Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “5223” as carried by the 2-8-0T built in 1923. A South Wales engine it was w/d in March 1965 from Newport and cut up by Birds, Bynea. The cabside with a flange notch to clear a rivet head has been cleaned otherwise ex-loco condition. n/s
