4 A Great Western Railway Ship Captain’s Cap with gilt laurel wreath and fouled anchor badge surmounted by the gilt GWR twin shields device on a red felt backing with gilt wire border. Complete with chin strap and further gilt wire laurel leaves to the cloth covered peak. V.g.c. and very special. SOLD FOR

A Gloucester engine mainly in BR days it was transferred to Bath Green Park for its last months in service working over the S&D line. It was w/d June 1963 and cut up at Derby. SOLD FOR

33 Great Western Railway mahogany cased roundhead Wall Clock with 8in. dial bearing the GWR roundel. The fine fusee movement is chain driven and set between brass plates spaced via turned pillars. The back box bears a “GWR 2515” ivorine plate. Working order with pendulum and key. GWR 8 inch dial clocks are rare and of course very displayable. SOLD FOR

A superb instrument beautifully restored with polished wooden base and lifting lid, brass fittings and ivorine description plates. 18x13x12.5in. o/all.
