409 LNER enamel Station Lamp Sign “Cullercoates”. Top edge chip. Very good colour and shine. A former NER station between North Shields and Whitley Bay closed Sept. 1979 and re-opened a year later on an earlier site by Tyne & Wear P.T.E. SOLD FOR

410 Great Western Railway cast iron Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “4139”. Unrestored. As carried by the 2-6-2T built at Swindon in 1939. Shedded at Worcester, Bristol (Bath Road), Kidderminster and Gloucester it was w/d July 1958 and cut up at Swindon. SOLD FOR

416 Oval engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate (London & North Eastern Railway Co.) “No. 1787 Doncaster 1934”. The engraving within brackets filled in. As carried by the Class ‘02’ 2-8-0 No. 2436 / 3961 / 63961. A Retford engine it was w/d Dec. 1962 and cut up at Central Wagon Co. Ince, Wigan. The plate is slightly distorted and has cracking to the bolt holes and right edge. n/s

This line was only eleven miles long and was built to connect the Central Wales Extension Railway at Llandovery in the north to the Llanelly Railway at Llandeilo. Signs therefore are scarce. SOLD FOR

Narrow Gauge 2-8-0 supplied to Central Mal Tiempo Cienfuegos becoming their No. 1238. Derelict by 1980’s. The plate formerly curved has been straightened out at the W&L Railway Workshop in Llanfair Caerinion. SOLD FOR

449 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “41233”. Face restored only. As carried by the LMS Class 2P 2-6-2T. built at Crewe in 1949. A long term Bangor, North Wales engine it was finally withdrawn from Stockport in Nov. 1966 and cut up by Cashmore’s, Great Bridge. SOLD FOR
