260 Rectangular stainless steel Locomotive Worksplate “Electro – Motive General Motors Corporation manufactured and assembled in Canada Model GT42 CWR, Serial 2000 8269 – 8, date 09-01”. Ex-Class 66/5 Diesel Loco No. 66533. Still in service with Freightliner and named “Hanjin Express / Senator Express”. A rare plate 9x4in in as removed condition as only 28 locos in this batch carried this style of plate and on one side only. n/s

266 “Southern Railway 1809” cast brass Locomotive Number Plate. Face restored only. 13.5×7.6in. As carried by the U Class 2-6-0 allocated to Fratton, Eastleigh and Guildford in BR times w/d from the latter in Jan 1966 and cut up by Cohen’s at Eastleigh. The engine was originally built as a ‘K’ Class 2-6-4T built at Brighton in Dec. 1926 as A809 and named “River Dart”. Last of the Class of 20 ‘Rivers’. The Class were all converted to 2-6-0 ‘U’ Class Tender Engines at Brighton, Ashford and Eastleigh during 1928. SOLD FOR

300 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “46146” in ex-loco condition. As carried by the former LMS ‘Royal Scot’ Class 4-6-0 built in 1927 by the North British Locomotive Company and originally named “Jenny Lind” until 1936 when it was re-named “The Rifle Brigade”. During the BR period it was a Crewe North, Camden and Willesden engine being w/d Nov. 1962 followed by storage at Devons Road, Bow and cutting up at Crewe Works in March 1963. SOLD FOR
