451 “L & SWR Dutton & Co. Worcester” cast iron Signal Lever Frame End Plate. A crack which appears stable otherwise face restored only. 31.5in. long.
452 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “90573”. As carried by the M.O.S. 2-8-0 WD. A Western Region engine until moving to Frodingham in 1962. W/d from Staveley Barrow Hill in Aug. 1965 and cut up by Garnham, Harris & Elton, Chesterfield.
453 LNER silver plated ‘Coronation’ pattern two compartment Tureen by Walker & Hall. Top marked with the “LNER” ‘Speed’ device associated with this streamlined train. V.g.c.
454 “Midland Railway Co.” Side and Tail Lamp. Full title and “128” brass plates. Complete with “MR Co.” vessel, all fittings and a red bullseye lens. Restored and a fine example.
455 Southern Railway galvanised wire Station Litter Bin with “Litter Here Please” curved enamel sign to the face. Restored in green paint and v.g.c. Semi-circular 20.25×10.5in.
456 Midland Railway cast iron “Beware of Trains” Notice. Face restored only.
457 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “86E” (Severn Tunnel Junction). Restored a while ago.
458 “LNER Worstead to North Walsham” leather Cash Bag. Leather losses at top. Ex-GER Norwich – Cromer line.
459 BR(Sc) double sided enamel Station Direction Sign. Both faces in good condition and complete with its wall mounting bracket.
460 Seven LNWR cast iron Signal Box Lever Description Plates referring to sidings. (7).
461 Hardbacked Book “British Locomotive Builders’ Plates” by Keith Buckle and David Love. 80pp. well illustrated. Published in 1994. A nice clean example of this long out of print work.
462 Great Eastern Railway Boundary Post. Comprising a length of bullhead rail with a “GER” fret cut out steel plate bolted to the top. A rare pattern 47.75in. tall.
463 Great Central Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. Body is stamped “GCR 23118”. Complete with “LNE-C” vessel, all fittings and glasses and restored.
464 “Dersingham – Snettisham” brass faced steel Single Line Tablet from the Kings Lynn – Hunstanton line closed in May 1969.
465 “London Midland and Scottish Railway” bronze Plaque awarded for success in reducing engine casualties”. The plaque features a Princess Royal Class loco in relief and two brass columns for winners. An attractive Art Deco item on its original ebonised panel with rear support stand. 25x18in. o/all.
466 “GN & GE 86” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate from a structure at Beckingham.
467 Midland Railway tinplate Chamber Stick. Stamped “MR Co.” in the bowl in tiny letters. Complete with chained snuffer cap and candle ejector slide. Makers trade mark “BP & S London” in a shield on the base. A rare item in v.g.c.
468 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “6C” (Birkenhead then Croes Newydd).
469 Great Western Railway cast iron Signal Box Doorplate. Restored.
470 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “64558” in fine ex-loco condition. As carried by the LNER J37 Class 0-6-0 built by the NBL Co (21927 of 1918). A Glasgow (Eastfield) and Dundee engine it was w/d Sept. 1965 & cut up at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co., Wishaw.
471 BR(M) “Private” enamel Doorplate ex-Wingfield Signal Box. A former Midland Main Line structure between Ambergate and Chesterfield. V.g.c.
472 North British Railway Handbell face inscribed with the company initials. On a turned wooden handle and complete with clapper 11in tall. It is provided with a turned wooden bell stand.
473 “London and North Eastern Railway Train Departures from Kings Cross 2nd. October 1938 to 30th. April 1939” quad royal Poster Timetable. V.g.c. with folds only.
474 Cast aluminium Locomotive Builder’s Plate “Built by British Rail Engineering Limited Doncaster Works. 1982”. Face restored only. 7×4.75in. Ex-Class 56 Loco No.56112 (stamped on back).
475 “London Midland & Scottish Railway Company” silver plated Bottle Coaster on three ball feet by Walker & Hall. Top marked with the full LM&SRC title and armorial devices. V.g.c.
476 Mamod spirit fired Traction Engine with its lumber wagon both in v.g.c. and in the original box.
477 Mamod spirit fired Roadster Motor Car. V.g.c. and in its original box.
478 South Eastern & Chatham Railway “Booking Office” enamel Station Doorplate. Edge wear otherwise v.g.c. Label on rear shows that it is ex-Crowhurst station.
479 Lancs & Yorks Railway 3 aspect Handlamp stamped “LYR Brighouse”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. V.g.c. and restored.
480 Carriage Print “Dunkeld, Perthshire” by Jack Merriott from the LNER 1945 – 47 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame.
481 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “36A” (Doncaster). Restored.
482 Birmingham Corporation Map of Tram and Trolley Bus Routes dated 1950. Shows some earlier pre-1930 insets. A well produced item on a wooden panel. 30x24in.
483 LNER cast iron Doorplate “Lamps”. Face restored only.
484 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builders Plate “Motor Rail & Tram Car Co. Ld. 79 Lombard St. London EC 468”. Centre bearing the War Department arrow is lettered “Simplex Patents with indent No. LR10 227 Feb14 1917”. Face restored only. 11.25×7.75in. From a narrow gauge loco on War Service.
485 Pair of GWR script cast iron Shelf Brackets. One example has minor loss to the ‘G’. Restored condition.
486 Liverpool Overhead Railway white glass Sign with lettering and scrolls “Fare One Penny”. 12.5x6in. Some re-colouring but a scarce survivor.
487 North Eastern Railway linen Map of its connections 1910 folding into hard titled covers. A superb map showing other company lines extending to Lancs, Notts, Lincs, Cumbria and the Scottish Borders. Produced in full colours and incorporating principal area products from nature and industry etc. V.g.c. 45x35in. approx.
488 “Great Northern Rly. Reft. Rooms Liverpool” silver plated half pint Tankard by Hutton, Sheffield. Nicely face inscribed with the full garter title. V.g.c. A scarce location for GNR items.
489 GNR 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “Great Northern Railway Company South Box Tuxford 4”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored.
490 Corus Iompair Eirann double royal Poster Map of Rail System and Shipping Routes of Ireland. Folds.
491 “L&SWR” Look-Out Man’s brass Warning Horn nicely marked with the company initials. V.g.c. and working order. 6in. long.
492 LNER official Locomotive Paperweight “High Pressure Locomotive 10000”. Good condition and complete with its original titled box which is in fair condition.
493 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Bramhall”. Minor chipping and loss of shine. A former LNWR station between Cheadle Hulme and Macclesfield.
494 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “81E” (Didcot). Face restored only.
495 Wooden handled Office Stamp. The large 2.5in diameter brass head lettered “LNER” within a Maltese cross device. V.g.c.
496 North Eastern Railway double sided cast iron Milepost Top only, “Kings X 179”. Lower part of border loss where broken from post. At least it is more manageable. Unrestored. 18x14in. o/all.
497 Railway Executive (LMR) small Stock Poster featuring fine artwork of a ‘Britannia’ hauled express. British Railways totem to the base. V.g.c. with a small edge nick. 30x20in.
498 “Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway” fully titled aluminium Vesta Match Box Holder. The other face is embossed “Exchange Station Hotel Liverpool”. Very scarce and complete with matchbox and contents.
499 A pair of cast iron Worksplates: “LMS Built 1944 Horwich” in good restored condition and a 1946 example with end loss (ex-44951). (2).
500 Carriage Print “Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire” by Leonard Squirrell from the 1948 – 55 series. V.g.c. and in an original glazed frame.
