120 LNER, North Eastern pattern General Utility Handlamp with oval brass “LNER” badge. Complete with “LNER” embossed vessel, “LNER” burner and all glasses. Ex-service condition with red paintwork. SOLD FOR

123 London & North Western Railway oak drop cased 14in. Wall Clock. The original dial is lettered “L&NWR W. Potts & Sons Leeds”. Original LNWR “358” enamel number plate to the side of the back box. A substantial chain driven fusee movement completes a fine clock in working order with keys and pendulum. SOLD FOR
124 LNER Welch Patent Signal Lamp Interior plated “Kings Cross Pass.” Complete with original purchase receipt, all fittings and glasses. SOLD FOR
125 Cast brass Industrial Locomotive Nameplate “Minerva” as carried by a 0-6-0T built by Hudswell Clarke (1241 / 1916) at John Summers Shotton Steelworks. Two additional fixing holes drilled possibly in service. An attractive plate face restored and polished only. 29.5×6.75 in. The loco was scrapped in 1959. SOLD FOR

135 A framed Print by the renowned artist David Sheppard depicting a work stained 9F 2-10-0 No. 92203 in the gloom of an engine shed. Personally signed by the artist and bearing fine art proof marks in the margin. The print is in a glazed frame with card mount. 44×29.25in. overall. SOLD FOR
136 Enamel Advertising Sign “Tolly Ales & Stout”. One corner and one small face chip. Good colour and shine. 24x18in. Tolly Ales were sold in the GER Hotels, Buffets and Dining Cars. SOLD FOR

138 Great Eastern Railway Cleaner’s wooden Box with hooped carrying handle. Two hinged lids on leather straps to the storage compartments. Original condition throughout with “GER” painted initials to both faces. The box is 19.25×9.5×6.5in. deep. SOLD FOR
139 “Abermule – Newtown” steel Single Line Key. A former Cambrian Railway section between Welshpool and Moat Lane. SOLD FOR

142 Large oval engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Great Northern Ry. Co. Makers Doncaster Works 1203 1908”. As carried by the J21 Class, later J1 0-6-0 Tender Engine No. 3003, 5002, 65002. A New England, Hitchin and Colwick loco it was w/d in Aug. 1954, the penultimate survivor of the Class of only 15 engines. The plate is in fine condition virtually unpolished and clearly marked “3003” in the back. 17.4×9.5in. SOLD FOR
143 A Book “British Railways Totem Station Signs” by D. Brennand. Soft back 102pp. with coloured centre section. Pub. 1991 and long out of print. Signed by the author, this pre dates the later hard backed book compiled by Brennand and Furness. SOLD FOR
