51 Large bound Plans Book titled “North Eastern Railway Leeds Extension Plans & Sections of proposed branch railways and works between Church Fenton, Micklefield and Leeds 1863 – 1864”. Interesting content, particularly the early proposal of the route from Marsh Lane station to Leeds Central station. n/s

60 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Number Plate “64904”. Ex-loco paintwork to the face as carried by the LNER J39 Class 0-6-0 built at Darlington 1936 originally numbered 3000. A Selby engine for many years it was w/d from Leeds Neville Hill in Oct 1961 and cut up at Cowlairs Works. SOLD FOR

63 “S. Fox & Co. Ltd. Stocksbridge Nr. Sheffield” promotional stainless steel octagonal Ashtray. The rim inscribed with the company details and “Silver Fox Stainless Steel”. A cast raised head of a fox to the centre. Samuel Fox & Co. supplied the foxes which adorned the body sides of the LNER ‘A4’ 60017 “Silver Fox”. V.g.c. and unusual. SOLD FOR

74 North Eastern Railway oak drop cased Wall Clock. The original 14in. service dial is written “W. Potts & Sons N.E.R. Leeds 468”. The fine quality chain driven fusee movement includes the drive shaft when the clock was part of a master and slave arrangement. A fine clock ex-Harrogate Goods Weighing Office. Complete with pendulum, key and original purchase receipt from Collector’s Corner, York. SOLD FOR

85 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Great Central Ry. Builders Gorton Works 1920 Manchester”. Cleaned and unrestored. Locos built that year were four members of the D11 Class 62661 “Gerard Powys Dewhurst”, 62662 “Prince of Wales”, 62663 “Prince Albert”, 62664 “Princess Mary” and ‘05’ Class No. 63917. So a good chance it is off a ‘namer’. SOLD FOR

86 A Splitter Lamp used on the Bass Worthington Railway system at Burton-on-Trent. Complete with all fittings and nicely restored. The lamp bears a maker’s plate “Linley Engineering, Birmingham, England” and was given to our vendor by the Bass Railway Superintendent at the time of its closure in 1967. SOLD FOR
