351 GNR cast iron two angled faces Milepost Top “L120”. It was ex-Newark Northgate on the downside of the main line just south of the station. It features in Michael Vann’s book “The Railways of Newark-on-Trent”. Unfortunately it was broken by BR in the 1970’s, repaired by the vendor and re-painted. SOLD FOR

353 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “40F” (Boston). Ex-loco condition as carried by the K2 Class 2-6-0 No. 61762 which was allocated to Boston all of its B.R. career. SOLD FOR

354 North Eastern Railway double sided cast iron Milepost “Hull Alex Dk. 46” reduced in height and set into a concrete foot to free stand. 54in. tall o/all. Restored. From the Hull & Barnsley line taken over by the NER in 1922. The mileage is from the Hull Alexandra Dock. SOLD FOR

355 LNER cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Topi” as carried by the B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61013 built at Darlington Works (1993 of 1946). An Ardsley engine of long standing it was withdrawn from Wakefield in Dec. 1966 and cut up at Draper’s, Hull. The nameplate is face restored only. SOLD FOR

368 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “47407”. Cleaned, the numbers only re-painted. As carried by the LMS ‘Jinty’ 0-6-0T. built by the Vulcan Foundry in 1926. (Works No. 3978). It was withdrawn in 1959 from Edge Hill and cut up at Crewe Works. n/s

376 North Eastern Railway oak cased Bracket Clock with chain driven fusee movement. The rectangular silvered dial carries the legend “BR(NE) 6904” and features ornate hands, all mounted within a Regency style case with portico and Corinthian columns. Records show that this clock is from the main NER offices at York. A fine clock in working order with pendulum and key. 15.5in. tall x 11in. wide x 8in. deep. SOLD FOR

386 Cambrian Railway 3 aspect Handlamp by “Defries & Sons, London”. The body is stamped “Wrexham Juc. Box Ellesmere” and bears “CRy” brass letters over the original stamping “GNR(I)”. Thought to be an order cancellation taken over by the Cambrian. Complete with original vessel with rape oil burner, all fittings & glasses. V.g.c. Unrestored. A rare lamp indeed. n/s
387 Pair of Industrial Locomotive cast iron Registration Plates from the same engine. “Registered by The Railway Executive No. 1500 1953”. Ex-loco condition with a welded break to one plate. As carried by a Lambton Engine Works, Philadelphia 0-6-0PT rebuilt from parts of other locomotives. SOLD FOR
