251 Oak Station Master’s Type Chair with arms, turned legs and arm / back supports. Branded “GNR” underneath. Good condition 30.5in. tall x 24in. wide. Complete with original purchase receipt which shows that the chair is “ex-Doncaster”. SOLD FOR
252 BR(S) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Tunbridge Wells Central” with original mounting bracket to the back. V.g.c. with lovely colour and shine. SOLD FOR
253 LNER cast iron Platform Seatback Nameplate “Donington Road”. Face restored only with a very good welded repair between the two words. 47in. long. A former GN & GE Joint station closed in Sept. 1961. SOLD FOR

256 “L.M.S. and L.N.E. Booking Office Tickets issued luggage collected all travel enquiries” metal framed double sided Sign with reflective lettering by Sunglo Signs E.C. Faced in glass both sides. Complete with its suspension hooks. A couple of corner cracks to the glass but a remarkable survivor in ex-service condition. 37×18.5in. SOLD FOR

258 London & North Western Railway Fletchers Pegging Train Describer in a green cast iron case with brass surround to the ivorine description segments which are all Chester locations. A fine and rare instrument in v.g.c. SOLD FOR
259 BR(E) quad royal Poster “Modernisation Temple Mills Marshalling Yard”. Includes an artist’s view of operations above a detailed diagram of the yard. Folds only and in a quality oak glazed frame ready to hang. 54x44in. o/all. SOLD FOR
260 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Deganwy” from the former LNWR station between Llandudno Junction and Llandudno. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
261 LB & SCR 4 aspect Handlamp. Body is stamped “B733 Uckfield” and has oval brass plate with full company title (small loss and a tad worn). Top has “B” brass disc and the handle is stamped “B733 UK”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unrestored. SOLD FOR

263 LNER fully titled cast iron Sign “Notice no heavy motor lorry or traction engine of a greater weight than 5 tons must be allowed nearer the edge of any dock or platform wall than 4 feet. Casting No. “0.8”. Unrestored. 32x23in. SOLD FOR
264 Clogher Valley Railway Coat of Arms Transfer. Nicely mounted on a stained wooden panel. V.g.c. 17x15in. o/all. SOLD FOR
265 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “50455” as carried by the ex-LYR Class 5P 4-6-0 introduced in 1908 and re-built in 1921. This was the last survivor of the ‘Dreadnoughts’ and the only Class member to carry a BR numberplate. Its last depot was Blackpool where it worked its last trip, a special to York and back. Withdrawal came in 1951. This very scarce smokebox plate is lightly restored with the paint cleaned from the numerals. (See next lot). SOLD FOR

281 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “47305”. A weld repair to the left hand corner otherwise ex-loco condition. As carried by the LMS Class 3F ‘Jinty’ 0-6-0T built by the Hunslet Engine Co. (1470 of 1925). It was allocated in BR days to Bromsgrove (for Lickey Incline banking), Aintree and Barrow to be w/d in Feb. 1965 and cut up by Arnott Young, Troon. SOLD FOR
