251 Oak Station Master’s Type Chair with arms, turned legs and arm / back supports. Branded “GNR” underneath. Good condition 30.5in. tall x 24in. wide. Complete with original purchase receipt which shows that the chair is “ex-Doncaster”. SOLD FOR

265 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “50455” as carried by the ex-LYR Class 5P 4-6-0 introduced in 1908 and re-built in 1921. This was the last survivor of the ‘Dreadnoughts’ and the only Class member to carry a BR numberplate. Its last depot was Blackpool where it worked its last trip, a special to York and back. Withdrawal came in 1951. This very scarce smokebox plate is lightly restored with the paint cleaned from the numerals. (See next lot). SOLD FOR

281 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “47305”. A weld repair to the left hand corner otherwise ex-loco condition. As carried by the LMS Class 3F ‘Jinty’ 0-6-0T built by the Hunslet Engine Co. (1470 of 1925). It was allocated in BR days to Bromsgrove (for Lickey Incline banking), Aintree and Barrow to be w/d in Feb. 1965 and cut up by Arnott Young, Troon. SOLD FOR
