A Flame Cut Cabside Panel “46243” from the LMS Coronation Class Pacific Locomotive “City of Lancaster”. The loco was built at Crewe in 1940 and streamlined. It was the last of the Class to be de-streamlined in 1949. BR allocations were Crewe North, Carlisle Upperby, Camden and Edge Hill. Withdrawal came in Oct. 1964 followed by cutting up at Central Wagon Co., Ince. The cabside measures 40x15in. and is accompanied by the book of locos scrapped at Ince and two photos of the loco in happier times. |

Its BR allocations were Newton Abbot, Laira, Wolverhampton Stafford Road and Oxley. W/d Nov. 1964 and cut up at Cashmore’s, Great Bridge. The namesake building is four miles from Macclesfield, Cheshire. |
