52 Cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns Ltd. Newcastle Works 7569 1950”. Face restored only. 13×8.5in. As carried by the (GWR)0-6-0 PT No. 9432. A Tyseley engine withdrawn in Nov. 1959 and cut up by Cashmores, Newport. SOLD FOR
53 “LNER” face etched Sherry Glass with tulip style bowl. One small chip to the pedestal foot. SOLD FOR
54 A Lever Arch File containing over 600 LNER return half Edmonson tickets together with some Stockton & Darlington Rly. weigh bills etc. early letters and a number of 19th century Acts of Parliament in respect of early railway companies. Must be viewed. SOLD FOR

61 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp with matching numbers “5544”. Brass plate to body “Great Northern Railway Company Colwick North Junction No. 4” and large makers plate to top “T. Knight & Co. Highgate Works Leopold St. Birmingham”. Complete with all fittings including “GNR” vessel, and all glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR
62 “Colwick North Junction” wooden Signal Box Board with applied letters. Very good condition and face restored. 75.5x19in. A former GNR box within the large Colwick Yard complex closed in August 1968. SOLD FOR

68 Cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “North British Locomotive Coy. Ltd. Hyde Park Works Glasgow 1918 No. 21835”. Cleaned only. 7.75in. diameter. As carried by the LNER ‘04’ Class 2-8-0 No. 63765 w/d from Langwith Oct 1964 and cut up at Darlington. SOLD FOR

70 Great Western Railway Side & Tail Lamp embossed “GWR” on the chimney. Complete with all fittings and glasses and in very good ex-service condition. n/s
71 “LMS 11” oval cast iron Bridge Number Plate. Face restored. SOLD FOR
72 Great Eastern Railway mahogany cased 12in. roundhead Wall Clock. The dial is written “G.E.R.” and bears an ivorine 2184 number plate. A fine chain driven fusee movement within brass plates stamped “Ex-Yk”. The glass is held within a cast brass bezel. The back box and wooden surround are branded “GER” several times. A good timepiece in working order with pendulum and key. Ex-GN&GE Helpringham signal box. SOLD FOR
73 A HR Train Arrivals Board lettered “LMS Elgin Station” with “The Highland Railway” ghost lettering below. “Trains for Forres” and “Trains from Keith” are tabled under with columns for “Minutes Late”. Ex-station condition in its original frame 20.5x14in. o/all. SOLD FOR
74 North Eastern Railway Station Platform Lamp Case with original “Staintondale” nameglass. Complete with vessel, burner, glass chimney and all glazing. Restored. A former station on the Scarborough – Whitby line. SOLD FOR
75 “GN & GE 88” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate. The structure is just north of Gainsborough Lea Road station. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
76 LNER double royal Poster advertising “The East Anglian” Norwich Ipswich London Service with timetables for Sept. 1948. Folds and scuffs but scarce. These services were originally hauled by a pair of specially streamlined B17 Class locomotives. SOLD FOR
77 LNER 3 aspect Handlamp with fogging glass. Brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Frodingham Yard”. Complete with all fittings and glasses and restored. SOLD FOR

79 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “46465” as carried by the Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0 built at Darlington (2167 of 1951). A Darlington, Tweedmouth and Dumfries loco w/d from the latter July 1964 and cut up by Arnott Young, West of Scotland Shipbreaking Co., Troon. Restored many years ago. SOLD FOR
80 Great Northern Railway mahogany cased Signal Box Block Bell No. “4812”. Very good working order. SOLD FOR
81 North Eastern Rly. enamel Station Doorplate “General Room and Booking Office”. Minor chips and slight loss of shine. SOLD FOR
82 Large heavy Clock Key. North Eastern Railway or probably earlier with copper plate attached stamped “Darlington Memorial Clock Key”. A substantial piece made to wind a clock with a half inch square spigot. Almost certainly the main tower clock at Darlington station. SOLD FOR
83 M&GNJR Interest: Seven rolled drawings dated 1926-38 in respect of various signalling works at Massingham, Melton Constable, Honing, Gedney and Norwich City. (7). SOLD FOR
84 “South African Railways 2084 15AR” cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate as carried by the 4-8-2 built by J.A. Maffei, Munich (5629 of 1925). Good ex-loco condition. SOLD FOR
85 “Met & GC Joint Committee” cast iron Trespass Notice, GCR pattern referring to “Imprisonment for one month”. A scarce notice face restored only. SOLD FOR

91 LNER enamel Locomotive Shedplate “Colwick”. General edge wear otherwise v.g.c. and displayed on a wooden mount. SOLD FOR
92 “L&Y Bolton” cut glass Carafe nicely face etched with the company initials in a shield. A scarce item in v.g.c. 7.5in. tall. SOLD FOR
93 South Yorkshire Joint Railway cast iron Bridge Number Plate “SYJR 28”. Face restored. SOLD FOR

95 Southern Railway Marine Dept. woven cotton Damask Tablecloth bearing the full title to the centre around the company house flag, within a decoration of leaves. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
96 A BR Totem in poor condition overpainted many years ago “Lincoln Central”. We do not know what is under the paint but the totem is from the collection of a deceased former Lincoln railway employee. SOLD FOR
97 “BR-E 61903 1931” oval cast brass ‘9×5’ Works Numberplate. Face lightly restored only. As carried by the LNER K3 Class 2-6-0, a Hull Dairycoates engine w/d Dec. 1961 and cut up at Doncaster. SOLD FOR
98 “GWR Hotels” roundel & scroll marked silver plated Items. A small teapot, sundae dish and small oval dish. (3). SOLD FOR
99 Sykes mahogany cased Signal Box Block Instrument with top mounted repeater with “Sykes makers plate and enamel plates “Up Line”, “Down Line” and “Ashford”. Superb condition. Ex-former LSWR Staines signal box. SOLD FOR
100 LMS cast aluminium ‘Hawkseye’ Station Running In Sign “Hallaton”. A former GN & LNW Joint Line location between Melton Mowbray and Welham Junction closed in Dec. 1953. Good ex-station condition. (See next Lot). SOLD FOR
