501 Loco Footplateman’s ‘Snap’ Box. Brass plate to lid “H.V.Taylor New England Loco Peterborough”. Complete with internal compartment and in fine ex-service condition. Unusual with depot name. SOLD FOR
502 “L&NWR Boundary” oval cast iron Plate. Face restored only. No Lot
503 LNER cast iron ‘9×5’ Locomotive Tender Works Numberplate. “London & North Eastern Railway 4289 1947”. Restored. As attached to the B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61299. A regular Colwick engine w/d July 1965 and cut up by Cohen’s, Ickles. SOLD FOR
504 “Telephone” enamel Sign. Edge chipping only. Very good colour and shine. 22x9in. SOLD FOR
505 Carriage Print “Thaxted, near Elsenham, Essex” by F.W. Baldwin from the 1948 – 55 series. In an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
506 “Great Northern Railway Beware of Trains Look up and down the line before you cross” cast iron Notice. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
507 LNER cast iron Station Seatback Nameplate “Tydd” from the M&GNJR station south of Sutton Bridge closed in March 1959. V.g.c. 18.75in. long and unrestored. SOLD FOR
508 East Coast Joint Stock Coat of Arms Transfer mounted onto a wooden panel. 17.75x15in. o/all. SOLD FOR
509 Oval engraved brass Locomotive Builders Plate “No. 1024 Gorton 1951”. As carried by the BR OHWE Loco No. 26017. W/d in March 1970 and cut up at BR Reddish Depot by Cashmores in Oct. 1971. The plate is 12×6.25in and face polished. SOLD FOR
510 East Coast Joint Stock small silver plated Cream Jug by Elkington. Face inscribed “E.C.J.S.” in an oval belted garter. V.g.c. 2.25in tall and delightful. SOLD FOR
511 BR double royal Poster Timetable for the M&GNJR Routes. “Yarmouth, Mundesley, Cromer, Sheringham, Melton Constable, Kings Lynn, Peterborough North 9th June to Sept. 1958”. V.g.c. with light folds only. Possibly one of the last timetables printed as some lines and many stations closed in March 1959. SOLD FOR
512 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “9E” (Trafford Park). Fully restored but genuine. SOLD FOR
513 “Great Northern Railway” 1896 cast iron Trespass Notice. Unrestored. SOLD FOR
514 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “34F” (Grantham). Ex-loco condition and displayed on a wooden mount. SOLD FOR
515 Pressed aluminium Road Sign “School” featuring a boy and girl. Ex-roadside condition. SOLD FOR
516 BR(LMR) small enamel “British Railways” Totem Notice Board Header in the revers colours of maroon on white. 16.25in. long. SOLD FOR
517 LNER cast brass ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern railway 5068 Darlington Works 1890”. Unpainted. As carried by the ex-NER C1 Class 0-6-0 No. 300 later Class J21 No. 65068. A Darlington engine it was w/d June 1954 and cut up at the local works. SOLD FOR
518 Highland Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. Body stamped “HRy”. Top and body have matching brass plates “Buckie BR Sec. 10”. Complete with all fittings and glasses except red shade. Restored. SOLD FOR
519 “LNER” one pint dimpled glass Tankard. Company initials acid etched on top rim. V.g.c. 5.25in. tall. SOLD FOR
520 “LNER Conisbro Station” coloured Signal Box Diagram showing all signals etc. at this location between Mexborough and Doncaster. Small edge tears and nicks. 40x18in. SOLD FOR
