351 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “61824” as carried by the LNER K3 Class 2-6-0 built at Darlington in 1924. A Colwick then Woodford Halse loco it was w/d in July 1961 and cut up at Doncaster. The plate is in v.g.c. Face restored & mounted on a wooden board. SOLD FOR

352 Lancashire & Yorkshire Rly. single aspect Gas Safety Handlamp stamped “L&YR Co” below the bullseye lens. Original vessel screws into the floor attached to a heavy threaded brass base. Ornate vents and a wooden top handle. Ex-service condition and scarce. SOLD FOR

359 North Eastern Railway mahogany cased 18in. dial Wall Clock with ex-service lettering “N.E.R. 7938 Grand Hotel”. Rear access door to chain driven fusee movement which appears to have some kind of timing device. Ian Lyman’s clock book shows the location as “The Grand Hotel West Hartlepool 18in. dial Refreshment Room on Platform”. Complete with pendulum and key. SOLD FOR

361 Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway 4 aspect Handlamp. Body stamped “M&GNJR” has a large semi-circular brass plate “Murrow M&GNJR 1661”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Unpainted. The station between Peterborough and Wisbech was located near the M&GN / GN&GE flat crossing. SOLD FOR

362 Robey’s of Lincoln Steam Engine Builder’s etc. Water Gauge Assembly comprising central brass column with two brass water gauges complete with glass and levers and a brass indicator lettered “Robey of Lincoln Limited Working Water Level”. Atop the assembly is a later pattern pressure gauge lettered “Robey of Lincoln” and calibrated to 250 p.s.i. Unrestored 39in. tall o/all. Would look superb polished. SOLD FOR

377 Pair of “Built 1954 Doncaster” cast iron Worksplates from the same locomotive, Standard Class 4 2-6-0 No. 76038. Both plates are totally ex-loco blathered in muck and gunge with notches out of the bottom edges. Worth buying for the smell alone! 76038 was a Std. Class 4 2-6-0 allocated to Neasden, Saltley and Machynlleth. W/d Sept. 1966 and cut up at Cashmore’s, Newport. SOLD FOR
