151 “Midland Railway Company” original Coat of Arms Transfer mounted onto a painted shield shaped panel. A nice early example. 16.5×16.5in. o/all.
152 London Transport 3 aspect Handlamp with sliding brass location plate “Watford”. Complete with copper vessel, all fittings and glasses. Original condition.
153 “L&SWR Beware of Trains” cast iron Notice. Face restored only.
154 “Great Northern Railway Builders Doncaster” oval cast iron Coach Plate. Face restored only. 11.4×6.8in.
155 Miniature steel Single Line Staff inscribed “Sellafield – Beckermet Mines Jct”. A section of WC&ER (FR & LNWR Joint).
156 Pair of North Eastern Railway cast iron Notices “Shut this gate” and “Penalty for neglect £2”. Both face restored only and clearly marked “NER” in the back.
157 Three large format official Binders labelled “LMS Northern Division – SW District”. Two are further marked “Minimum Structure Gauges” and the third “Classification of Metal Underbridges. Much information drawn and listed regarding individual structures, their numbers and locations etc. (3).
158 Large tinplate Wagon Label “Empty to Welbeck Colliery (Warsop) G.C. Rly”. Good condition. 8x5in.
159 Maryport & Carlisle Railway Cart Lamp or similar. Brass plates “M&CR” and “MT No. 7” (possibly Maryport Traffic). Complete with “M&CR” vessel, all fittings and glasses and in v.g.c. Scarce. Ex-Mike Sharman Collection.
160 Aluminium Single Line Tablet inscribed “Angel Road Junction – Edmonton Junction”. V.g.c.

161 Four official Midland Railway Official Route Map Postcards each including a local view. Two are postally used and all four are in v.g.c. (4).
162 BR LNER style Locomotive Headlamp complete with all fittings and glasses.
163 East African Railways cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Sir Philip Mitchell” in ex-loco condition 60.25in. long. As carried by the EAR ‘Governor’ Class 60 Beyer-Garrett. Its claim to fame as being the locomotive selected to haul HM Queen Elizabeth’s Royal Train during her East African Tour.
164 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “34F” (Grantham). Face restored only.
165 Carriage Print “Norwich Tombland Alley” by J. Fletcher Watson from the LNER 1945 – 47 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame.
166 Furness Railway Rolling Stock ‘Pot’ Lamp stamped “FRC” and bearing three brass plates “Furness Railway Company manufactured by Messenger & Sons Birmingham”, “FRC Barrow Goods No. 3” and “Messenger & Sons Patentees Birmingham & London”. Complete with bevelled edged radiused cornered side glasses, copper interior and in v.g.c. Special and rare.
167 “LNER GN Section Newstead Proposed Amalgamation of Signal Boxes”. A detailed diagram showing lines and junctions either side of Newstead with much annotation. V.g.c. and in a glazed frame 59.25×18.25in. o/all.
168 Great Indian Peninsular Railway large heavy key wound Pocket Watch. The enamelled dial is lettered “G.I.P.R” and “John Walker 68 Cornhill & 256 Regent St. London”. The case back is engraved “212” in hatched numerals. The movement engraved in ornate style “Jno Walker 68 Princes St. Leicester Sq. London”. A very early timepiece from the Victorian era sadly not working.
169 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Doorplate “Permanent Way Inspector”. V.g.c.
170 Double royal pictorial Poster “B & I Line Liverpool Dublin Nightly Passenger Service”. Folds and a top centre tear otherwise good condition and a nice image.

171 “L&SWR Co” double sided cast iron Boundary Post. Restored a while ago.
172 Cast iron Locomotive Tenderplate “BR2 No. 931 1953”. Restored. As carried by a Standard Class 2-6-0 in the number range 76000 – 76024.
173 LNER and Norfolk & Suffolk Committee Timetable of Trains from and to Cromer, Sheringham and North Walsham May to July 1939. Printed on card 24x15in.
174 LNER “General Waiting Room” cast iron Station Doorplate. V.g.c. and unrestored.
175 “Taff Vale Railway Company” leather enclosed pocket sized Note Pad bearing the gilt embossed title, 1836 date and heraldic device to the face. Complete with pencil. Scarce.
176 (GWR) cast brass Locomotive Cabside Numberplate “1503” as carried by the Hawksworth 0-6-0PT built at Swindon in 1949, a Class of only ten members. 1503 was based at Old Oak Common all its life and was withdrawn in Dec. 1963 and cut up at Ward’s, Briton Ferry in May 1964. The cabside is face restored only and presents a rare opportunity to acquire a 15XX plate. These were the heaviest Panniers built for the GWR or BR(WR).
177 “Hunslet cast aluminium Diesel Radiator Plate in ex-loco condition. 24in. long.
178 “York & North Midland Railway Company” large 26mm, one piece silver Button by John Deakin, Sheffield. Tarnished and a little worn but scarce. Opened in 1839, the Y&NMR became part of the NER in 1854. (Froggatt 1/8).
179 “Manchester & Leeds Railway Co. large 28mm. one piece gilt Button in v.g.c. The M&LR opened in 1839 and changed its name to the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1847. Scarce.

191 “Bourne Perm. Way Dept” brass plated Detonators Tin with hinged lid and swivel top handle. 8.25in. tall o/all.
192 North British Railway Police tubular nickel Whistle. Clearly marked “NBR” and in working order.
193 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “64B” (Edinburgh Haymarket). Face restored only.
194 Isle of Wight Railway illuminated Manuscript to Joseph Bourne Esq. Engineer and General Manager of the Company on his retirement dated July 21st. 1884. A superb lavishly produced item bearing the company title garter with an early 2-4-0 locomotive “Bonchurch” to the centre and a list of company employees from the various departments, all within an ornate foliate border. V.g.c. and in a glazed frame with lined card mount. 30.25x25in. overall. Very special.
195 London & North Western Railway enamel Sign “Public Telephone Call Box under L&NWR Control”. Edge corrosion and paint re-touching which could be improved. Very good colour and shine. 36x12in.
196 North Eastern Railway General Purpose Handlamp. Clearly marked “NER” and with two plates “NER” (brass) and “CC14” (copper). Complete with LNER vessel & burner, all fittings and glasses. Unrestored with remains of original red paintwork.
197 Rolled copy Signal Box Diagram “Arkwright Street” with BR(LMR) S&T Dept. Stamp dated July 1963. From the ex-GCR box between Weekday Cross and Nottingham Goods South. 46×19.5in. Together with a Weekday Cross to Rugby Central line chart. (2).
198 “Holbeach – Welland Bank” brass Single Line Tablet from the section between Spalding and Sutton Bridge closed in1959.
199 “North British Railway Company Refreshment Rooms” Liqueur Glass superbly face etched with the full title and company crest. V.g.c. 4.1in tall.
200 Pair of GWR brass Locomotive Whistles attached to an original style steel baffle plate and mounted on a wooden stand to make a fine display item.
