101 Carriage Print “Peterborough Cathedral” by Kenneth Steel from the 1948 – 55 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
102 LNER, GER sliding knobs pattern 3 aspect Handlamp brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Billingboro 2”. Date stamped for 1931. Complete with original vessel, rape oil burner, all fittings, glasses and back handle intact. Restored. A former GNR station between Bourne and Sleaford closed to passengers in Sept. 1930. SOLD FOR
103 “Scarborough Rural District Council” cast iron Notice “Locomotives weighing more than 3 tons are prohibited passing over this bridge. James A Iveson Surveyor”. 18×13.5in. Unrestored. A fine sign with ornately shaped corners. SOLD FOR
104 “Midland Railway Co. Trent 1922” Company Sack, the title on both sides. V.g.c. The location was between Nottingham and Derby. SOLD FOR
105 A Sugg copper Station Lamp with brown enamel shade, supports, gas fittings and mounting collar and glass bowl. V.g.c. 34in. tall o/all. SOLD FOR
106 LNER cast iron Station Seat Back Nameplate “Hutton Cranswick”. V.g.c. 50in. long. The letters and border only repainted. A former NER station on the Hull – Driffield line. SOLD FOR
107 Mersey Railway Company Copper Pass. Full company title Liver Bird and 1886 to one face. The other inscribed “P.J. Dunn North London Ry. All stations 52”. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
108 Brass faced steel Single Line Tablet inscribed “Tipton St. John – Budleigh Salterton 26”. V.g.c. From the former LSWR Sidmouth Jct. – Exeter loop, the station closing in March 1967. SOLD FOR
109 GN & GE Station Platform Lamp Top with two name glasses “Nocton”. Complete with a vessel, burner and all glazing. Restored. The door catch a/f. 30.5in. tall Nocton and Dunston station was between Lincoln and Sleaford and closed in May 1955. N/S
110 LNER Handbell clearly marked in the wooden handle. Complete with clapper and in v.g.c. 10.5in. tall. SOLD FOR

111 “North Stafford Station Hotel Stoke on Trent” Vesta Match Case in v.g.c. retaining much of the original gilded finish. SOLD FOR
112 LNWR ‘Fletcher’s’ mahogany cased Signal Box Block Instrument with three trafolite plates “Down Line, Up Line and Erdington” and an underslung bell with tapper. A very nice example. The location is on the Lichfield – Birmingham New Street line. SOLD FOR
113 Signal Box Diagram “Brampton” in its original glazed frame 46.75x19in. o/all. (Ipswich to Beccles line). N/S
114 GWR pre-grouping Pocket Watch by Rotherhams of London. The face is lettered “G.W.R” and the case back is engraved “GWR Engrs. Dept. 39”. A very nice timepiece but requires attention to the movement as it is overwound. N/S
115 Flanged enamel Advertising Sign “Nosegay the tobacco for pipe or cigarette” complete with its thermometer. Chip to upper screwhole otherwise v.g.c. with good colour and shine. 24x7in. SOLD FOR
116 Carriage Print “Killiecrankie, Perthshire” by Jack Merriott from the LNER 1945 – 47 series. V.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame. SOLD FOR
117 LNER “Private” cast iron Signal Box Doorplate. Nicely face restored. N/S
118 “N.E.R.” so marked nickel Look-Out Man’s Warning Horn in v.g.c. and working order. 11.75in. long. Together with a brass example 8.25in. long also in v.g.c. (2). SOLD FOR
119 Barry Dock and Railways corrugated 3 aspect Handlamp with wooden roller top handle (some losses). Complete with original unmarked vessel, all fittings and glasses. Unrestored. SOLD FOR
120 Chromed cast brass Locomotive Builder’s Plate “The English Electric Company Ltd. London No. 2774 / D469. 1959 The Vulcan Foundry Ltd. Locomotive Works England”. Ex-loco condition. 10×4.5in. As carried by BR Class 40 No. 40054 (D254). W/d Dec. 1977 and cut up at BREL Crewe Dec. 1978. SOLD FOR

121 Original pen and colour wash Painting by G. Wheatley titled “Local Passenger” depicting a LMS Stanier 2-6-4 Tank hauling suburban stock. A pleasing image on artboard in a glazed frame with card mount. 18×16.25in. o/all. (See also lot no. 299). N/S
122 SE & CR Train Destination enamel Sign “Caterham & Tadworth”. Re-touched edge wear mainly. Very good colour and shine. 25in. long. SOLD FOR
123 “British Railways” enamel Totem Notice Board Header. Chip to one screwhole otherwise minor edge wear only. 16.25in. long. SOLD FOR
124 LNER, GNSR Lines 3 aspect Handlamp with brass plates “Dyce”, “W. Watson” and “Robb Moore & Neill Ltd. Ship Chandlers Glasgow Cardiff & London”. Complete with all fittings and glasses. Restored. SOLD FOR
125 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “92186”. As carried by the 9F 2-10-0. Built at Swindon in Jan. 1958. A New England and Colwick loco mainly it was w/d Aug. 1965 and cut up at Draper’s, Hull. Face restored only. SOLD FOR
126 “LMS 1930” marked oak cased Signal Box Telephone. Complete with all fittings. SOLD FOR
127 Great Northern Railway Station Platform Seat from Grantham comprising “GNR” marked cast iron ends, original wood (base branded “GNR”), replica “Grantham” nameplate and original purchasing paperwork direct from BR in 1976. The seat 11 feet long has been well maintained by our vendor and is currently in assembled condition. Successful bidder to collect from Leicester as soon as possible following the auction. SOLD FOR
128 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “64F” (Bathgate). The depot was well known in the twilight years of steam as a storage place for withdrawn locos prior to transfer to scrapyards. SOLD FOR
129 Great North of Scotland Railway silver Ambulance Medal bearing the enamelled cross of St. Andrew and inscribed “GNSR Ambulance Competition Alex. Walker 1912”. Complete with original suspension bar and ribbon. SOLD FOR
130 North British Railway bronze Ambulance Medallion embossed “NBR Co” and inscribed “Ambulance Competition 1915 won by Alexander Philp”. V.g.c. SOLD FOR

133 BR Western Region Swiss made Pocket Watch by Revue. 24 hour Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. The case back inscribed “BR(W) 03987”. V.g.c. and working order. N/S
134 LNER Side & Tail Lamp clearly stamped in the chimney and with brass plate “Carriage Works York”. Complete with original vessel, all fittings and bullseye lenses. Unrestored. N/S
135 Canadian Pacific Steamships silver plated Nut Crackers. Nicely marked with the full title garter and house flag. V.g.c. SOLD FOR
136 BR cast aluminium Double Arrow Device as carried by the Brush Type 4 DE Locomotive No. 47339, formerly D1820. Ex-loco condition. SOLD FOR
137 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Rugeley Town”. One slightly bumped end, two re-touched face chips, some scuffing but good colour and shine. Former LNWR station between Stafford and Lichfield. SOLD FOR
138 LMS official cast white metal Paperweight “Streamline Engine” “Coronation”. 5.5in. long o/all base. SOLD FOR
139 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “56D” (Mirfield). Restored a while ago. SOLD FOR
140 Furness Railway enamel Gate Notice. Face restored to considerably improve it from the normal offerings of this sign. 18x18in. SOLD FOR

141 Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “63818”. As carried by the LNER 04 Class 2-8-0 Rebuilt in 1944. A Frodingham, Retford and Doncaster engine w/d April 1966 and cut up at Station Steel, Wath. A fine smokebox in totally ex-loco condition. N/S
142 BR(M) double royal pictorial Poster “Carlisle” by Kerry Lee. Folds only. SOLD FOR
143 Miscellaneous Paperwork & Plans; LB&SCR folding linen plan and section for the Quarry Line avoiding Redhill, SR signal diagram Singleton, train staff tickets incl. Hopton Top to Longcliffe (C&HPR) and six K&ESR, BR engine record cards 73032 & 80119 and LBSCR 1917 signalling notice. Full and detailed list of items on the box for viewing. SOLD FOR
144 North Eastern Railway cast iron Numberplate “323” from the High Level Bridge at Newcastle, the iconic ECML structure over the Tyne on the approach to the station. The plate is accompanied by a copy of the official bridge / track diagram. SOLD FOR
145 Wooden handled Office Stamp. The brass head inscribed “British Railways Stanningley”. String binding between handle and head. A former GNR station between Leeds and Bradford closed in Jan. 1968. Replaced by New Pudsey station half a mile due west. SOLD FOR
146 “LNER 4213 1947” cast iron ‘9×5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate from the tender attached to the B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61223. W/d Jan 1966 from Immingham. Face restored only. SOLD FOR

150 Belfast & Northern Counties Railway small enamel Notice. “Any person found writing on the walls or in any way injuring the company’s property will be prosecuted by order”. General edge wear. 6x4in. SOLD FOR
