Face restored only a while ago. There is evidence to suggest that this plate is from one of the steam examples. |

LNWR 12in. (300mm) mahogany cased Wall Clock circa 1860 - 1870 by J.B.Joyce of Whitchurch. The original service iron dial is written “LMS Joyce Whitchurch 902” within a convex moulded surround and spun brass bezel. The fine English fusee movement is within ‘A’ shaped brass plates spaced via turned ringed pillars. The front plate is stamped “J.B. Joyce”. The back box has two side doors and a bottom door with brass lock. Pasted to the rear is a Wm. Potts of Leeds service label. To the side is an original LNWR enamel “902” numberplate. A fine clock in lovely working order complete with pendulum and keys. Records show that the clock was in service at Basford Hall Signal Box near. Crewe. |

A Skipton Loco for most of its later years the loco was withdrawn from Lostock Hall in July 1965 and cut up by Wards of Beighton, Sheffield in Dec. 1965. The plate is in fine condition face painted only over old paint. The back original and sooty. |
