Midland Railway 12” (300mm) roundhead Wall Clock. The fusee movement is held between ‘A’ shaped brass plates which are spaced via stout turned brass pillars. The re-written dial reads “Midland Railway” in correct style. A fine mahogany case incorporates two side doors and exhibits two pin holes where the “LMS” plate was originally fixed and the dial is within a moulded mahogany surround. A lovely clock in working order complete with pendulum and key. |
