128 Norfolk & Suffolk Committee medium 19mm. brass Button with “N&SC” script initials. v.g.c. (Frog.44/14). 139 Rectangular cast iron Wagon Plate “For Repairs advise Lancashire & Yorkshire Waggon Co. Ld. Heywood. Lancs”. Face restored only. 300x127mm. (11.8x5in).
129 Ian Allan ABC Locospotters Books: GWR Oct 1945, Dec 1946, June 1947, Oct 1947 & BR(W) 1948 plus SR Nov 1945, Nov 1946, July 1947, Nov 1947. All have some underlining. Mainly good cond. (9) 140 Cast iron Sign “M.S.J.&A Ry. Any person except servants of the company ‘on duty’ crossing or walking along the line will be prosecuted”. Face restored only. A scarce notice from the Manchester South Junction & Altrincham Rly.

All have some underlining except LMS June 1947. Mainly g.c. (8). 141 Carriage Panel. An early GWR carriage panel “Cappoquin, Co. Waterford (Ireland)” By the Photocrom Co. circa 1895. A fine colour tinted photo produced for the GWR to encourage use of their ferry services to Ireland. v.g.c. with titled mount & in an original type glazed frame.
131 North Eastern Rly. General Purpose Handlamp. Chimney stamped “NER Co” complete with LNER vessel, LNER burner and all glasses. v.g.c. and restored. 142 “GNR Look-Out” enamel Armband v.g.c. with minor chips only. Lacking straps.
132 Cast aluminium Diesel Depot Plaque featuring the West Highland Terrier of Eastfield Depot, Glasgow. Face restored only. Some signs of back wear so definitely a carried example. 143 Wooden handled Rubber Ink Stamp “Ynysybwl GWR weight invoice issued to __ route ___ no ___ date ____”. The blanks would have been filled in by hand by the goods clerk. This former Taff Vale station on the Matthewstown branch closed in July 1952.
133 Carriage Print “Travel in 1865. West Coast Express hauled by ‘Large Bloomer’ No. 607 leaving Shugborough Tunnel”. Minor foxing otherwise v.g.c. and in an original glazed frame. 144 LNER (GNR pattern) 3 aspect Handlamp. Top stamped “LNER 1875”. Body stamped “LNER 1685” and brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Dodds Doncaster”. Complete with LNER vessel, LNE burner, reflector, copper lens cone and all glasses (blue cracked). A fine transitional lamp virtually pure GNR in form. Restored.
134 Midland Railway Chamber Pot by Mintons from the Midland Hotel, Bradford. The Midland Railways Hotels ornate “MRH” cypher to the face in crimson with gilt banded decoration to the waist, rim and handle. v.g.c. 145 Set of three Great Western Rlwy cast iron Platform Seat Supports originally from a long seat at Lostwithiel station in Cornwall. The supports with “GWR” roundel devices were obtained by the vendor’s cousin from the station supervisor. They had been in position on the down platform. Cleaned & primed & in v.g.c. (3)
135 LMS Chamber Pot by Mintons from the Midland Hotel, Bradford. The “LMS” ornate cypher in Midland Ry. style to the face in crimson. Gilt decoration to the waist and rim bands and to the handle. v.g.c. 146 “Swindon Railcar Club 1962” chrome plated and resin Car Badge. Full title over a sunburst design with British Railways double arrow symbol. v.g.c. & most unusual.
136 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “87A” (Neath) face restored only. An uncommon code for such a large shed and this ia a superb example. 147 “LMS Hotels” silver plated Coaster by Walker & Hall. Used for holding a small bottle of table oil dressing or vinaigrette. v.g.c. and scarce. Only 63mm. dia. (2.5in)
137 USA Steam Locomotive ‘Lunkenheimer’ three note chime Whistle with stylised acorn finial and ornate shaped lever which dates the whistle as pre-1907. Virtually ex-loco condition. 300mm. tall (11.8in). 148 BR(LMR) coloured Track Diagram detailing the Erewash Valley Line (Trent - Clay Cross), Ilkeston Junction &Cossall, and NCB Cossall Colliery dated 1962. One small bottom edge tear otherwise v.g.c. 1160x202mm. (45.6x7.8in). Folded.
138 Cap Badges: Severn Valley Railway brass initials and Festiniog Railway brass initials with nickel Prince of Wales feathers and “Ich Dien” motto. These are early issue badges in v.g.c. (Frog. plate 52). 149 GWR enamelled Mug of 1.5 pint capacity. Nicely face marked with the company initials. A scarce size of mug in v.g.c. Most of the survivors appear to be the 1 pint size.
