386 An Art Deco style cast bronze Plate “St. Helens” retaining most of the original white enamel infill to the lettering. A stippled back design with inset border and stylish ends. Two fixing studs to rear. Origin unknown but attractive. 318x58mm. (12.5x2.3in). 397 “LNER S&T Dept. F.P. 121” oval embossed brass Paycheck (Ex Finsbury Park) in v.g.c.
387 Oval polished aluminium Plate engraved “L&NWR Alarm Signal to stop the train pull down the chain” with a foliate motif to the top. The company initials being in a very ornate intertwined style. The back is stratched in script “Saloon 71”. Fine condition and certainly a rarity. 108x76mm. (4.25x3in). 398 “LNER Locomotive Dept. IM 1193” oval embossed brass Paycheck. (Ex - Immingham) in v.g.c.
388 Three LNER official Publications: “Land of Scott and Border Abbeys” 12pp. ; “Rothbury and Coquetdale” 16pp.; “Rivers of East Anglia” 30pp. All have “LNER” diamond logo to rear covers and are in v.g.c. (3). 399 Carriage Print “Town Bridge, Stamford, Lincolnshire” by John Bee from the LNER 1945 - 47 Series and one of only two prints by this artist. Two small pin holes to left edge otherwise v.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame.
389 London Transport small cast iron Bridge Number Plate “14”. Unrestored. 400 LNER ‘Kesick’ design china Teacup in the Scottish thistles pattern. The title base marked and dated 1939. v.g.c.
390 L&YR Labels including “Chief Goods Manager’s Office, Manchester”; “From the L&Y Stationery Stores Manchester (To Fockerby A.J.Rly.)”; “Collected Tickets”; “From L&Y Stores Miles Platting”; Tag from Rochdale to Skipton. All g.c. (5) 401 LNER ‘Kesick’ design tiny china Cream Pourer in the Scottish thistles pattern. The title base marked and dated 1935. A tiny base chip which appears to be under the glaze. A little gem only 42mm. (1.65in) tall.
391 Cast iron Star Wagon Plate “LMS 162371A Dec. 1941”. Unrestored. 402 “GNR” grey linen Armband with embroidered company initials in crimson. v.g.c. and complete with original ribbon ties. Rare.
392 LMS quad royal Letterpress Poster “LMS Hotel Services Easter and Spring Holidays at Gleneagles and Turnberry Hotels”. Edge tears, small loss to bottom left corner, general light creasing & some light stains & tape repairs. A rare survivor. 403 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “56G” (Bradford Hammerton Street). Face restored only.
393 GNR wooden Signal Arm from a miniature somersault signal. v.g.c. and with back bracket attached embossed “GNR”. 750mm. (29.5in) long. 404 Two British Rail modern image screen printed aluminium Station Signs with flanges to long edges; Regional Railways “Blaydon” 92mm. long (36.2in) and “Dinsdale” 820mm. (32.2in) long. Both good condition. (2)
394 LNER colour washed Signal Box Diagram titled “LNER Beeston Jct”. in shaded lettering. Shows trackwork and signals at this location with the main lines “From Ardsley” and “To Leeds” together with the lines to and from Tingley and the Hunslet Goods Branch. Also shown are the gradient diagrams and tables of detection and electric controls. Corner stamped “LNER GN Section Sig & Tele Engineers Office” and dated 6.9.27. Minor edge nicks plus a little adhesive residue where an over label has been removed. Does not detract from a superb diagram in v.g.c. Loose laid on a hardwood panel and covered in clear polythene to protect. 1505x565mm. (59.25x22.25in). 405 Carriage Print “Leiston Abbey, Suffolk” by F.W. Baldwin from the 1948-55 series. v.g.c. and in an original glazed frame.
395 Large rectangular embossed brass Paycheck “B.R.B. - L.M. Region Marylebone S & T Pay 10”. Uncommon. 406 Carriage Print “The Castle, Inverness” by F.Donald Blake from the 1956-57 Sc. R. series and one of only two prints by this artist. Very light creases otherwise v.g.c. and in an original type glazed frame.
