236 GWR official Publication “Oxford and Shakespeare Land”. 26pp. plus folding maps, 1929. Contents clean and tight but they have become detached from the covers which have minor nicks & bumps. Scarce. 249 “Soton Docks N.T. 55 LSWR” circular embossed brass Paycheck. v.g.c. (NT = New Terminal).
237 North Eastern Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. Top stamped “NER”. Body has oval brass embossed “NER” plate. Lens cone stamped “NER Co”. Complete with original “NER” vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses. Very good condition and restored. 250 Great Central Rly. glass Inkwell complete with glass stopper. Nicely face etched with the company initials in serif style. v.g.c.
238 LNER Drivers two aspect Handlamp from Tweedmouth MPD. Top has a steel plate “TW 28”. Body embossed “LNER”. Complete with vessel, burner, reflector and front lens. Red shade missing. Restored. 251 Heavy steel and leather Single Line Key Token Holder featuring an unusual stirrup type hoop. Vendor’s thoughts are GWR. A scarce item in very good ex-service condition. 325mm. o/all length. (12.8in).
239 Four matching Pullman Car Co. china Soup Bowls by Ridgway. All with classical border incorporating Grecian urns and acanthus foliage. The later “Pullman” coat of arms is prominently displayed top centre. v.g.c. (4) 252 Three LMS official Publications: “The Peak District” 46pp.; “Historic Chester” 23pp. 1927; “The English Lakes” 84pp. All complete with maps where appropriate. Covers a tad soiled, contents very good. (3).
240 Pullman Car Co. silver plated Hot Water Pot by Walker & Hall. Crisply face marked with the later style “Pullman” coat of arms. v.g.c. 253 GN & LNW Joint cast iron shield shaped “1/4” Mile Post Top complete with the angled post mounting lugs to the back. These mileposts were exclusive to the Great Northern & London North Western Joint Line running between Welham Jct. north of Market Harborough to Bottesford North Jct. south of Newark.
241 GWR hand engraved brass Signal Box Shelf Plate “To Portobello Junction Main Line”. Polished in places. A location west of Paddington. 120x38mm. (4.75x1.5in). 254 BR(E) pictorial double royal Poster “Huntingdon” featuring artwork by Lance Cattermole of “Oliver Cromwell 1599 - 1658” upon his horse with Parliamentary soldiers around. v.g.c. and nicely presented in a glazed wooden frame with slip mount. 1118x746mm. (44x29.3in) o/all.
242 South Yorkshire Joint Line small 16.5mm. nickel “S.Y.J.” initials Button. Very good condition (F45/7). The SY was jointly built by Midland, GCR, GNR, LYR & NER companies. 255 Great Northern Rly. cast iron Signal Box Lever Plate in original paint lettered “2 Signal. Spalding Up Home. 43” embossed “GNR S143” on the back. v.g.c.
243 BR(E) flangeless enamel Doorplate “Parcels & Enquiries”. Good condition with no chips, light scratches only. 256 LNER white china Teapot with matching lid by Alfred Meakin. Face marked “LNER” vertically. Excellent condition.
244 Two small silver plated Mustard Spoons: “LNER” by Walker & Hall and “Caledonian Steam Packet Company” by Mappin & Webb. Both crisply top marked and in v.g.c. (2). 257 LNER small 18mm. gilt senior staff issue Button. Gothic initials with crown and wreath. v.g.c. and scarce. (F5 / 19).
245 LNER (marked) Platform Lamp Vessel (GER pattern) with copper “Wickford” plate. v.g.c. complete with brass burner and glass chimney. An Essex location where the lines to Southminster and Southend diverge. 258 Nottingham Joint Station (GC & GN) large 25mm. “NJS” block initials Button as issued to staff at the Victoria station. v.g.c. (F47/18).
246 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “LMS Built Derby”. Face restored only. The bolt holes enlarged via the cutters torch. 261x150mm. (10.25x6in). 259 As Previous Lot but small size 17.5mm. “NJS” Button. v.g.c. (F47/18).

Top stamped “LNER” and body has brass plate “London & North Eastern Railway Peterboro North Pass”. Complete with vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses. v.g.c. and unrestored ex-service condition.
