134 “LNER Engrs. Dept. Kings X Dist. Pay 379” circ. embossed brass Paycheck in v.g.c. 146 “Great Northern Railway Builders Doncaster” oval cast iron Coach Plate. Nicely face restored and presented on a mahogany mount.
135 “LMR Traffic Dept. Leeds City 476” octagonal embossed pewter Paycheck in v.g.c. 147 A fine pair of Great Eastern Railway silver plated Cake / Pastry Servers by Elkington. Very crisply marked on the end “GER” in ornate intertwined script letters surmounted by the company’s dragon wing device. Superb. 263mm. (10.4in) long.
136 “Midland Railway Company St. Mary’s Derby 346” circular embossed brass Paycheck in v.g.c. 148 GNR silver plated Cutlery all with ribbed handles: matching “GNR DC” script fish knife and fork; 3 further “GNR DC” fish knives; “Great Northern Rly. Hotel Peterboro” garter title 3 fish forks. v.g.c. Note all the pieces are the same style. (7)
137 “LM&SR C&W Dept. 29 Dundee” hexagonal brass Paycheck in v.g.c. 149 “Pennsylvania Railroad” double royal photographic Poster “New Jersey Seashore”. Edge tears some of which have been tape repaired at the back. Very light creases and minor stain to bottom lerft corner.
138 Midland Railway large hand engraved Signal Box Shelf Plate “Hendon Junc.” impressive 305x37mm. (12x1.5in). 150 “Bass” oval enamel advertising Sign incorporating the well known red triangle trade mark. Chips around the four screwholes, the main area in good conditon. 460x362mm. (18x14.25in). Recovered from Smallford station on the long closed former GNR Hatfield to St. Albans Abbey branch.
139 BR(ER) quad royal pictorial Poster “Map of Norfolk published by British Railways”. A colourful work incorporating the then railway network with vignettes of notable persons, buildings, coats of arms, etc. v.g.c. Light folds only. 151 GWR small enamel Plate from a permanent way trolley “None but authorised employees allowed to ride on this vehicle”. Minor chips and edge wear only. 380x70mm. (15x2.75in).
140 Platform Lamp Case of pre-grouping origins. A handsome lamp with white glass roof panels and complete with all glass main panels. Has MSLR, GER NBR etc. characteristics. v.g.c. 830mm. high (32.7in). 152 Midland Railway Hotel issue extra large 28mm. script initials and wyvern Button. v.g.c. retaining most of the original gilt finish. (F11/12).

142 London Passenger Transport Board (1933 - 1948) black plastic Thunderer Whistle with inset nickel plate “L.P.T.B.” very good condition and in working order. 154 “LNER N” rosette Horsebrass. The small ‘N’ referring to former Great Northern Rly. section. (Haw. 100). Back loop missing and a tad tarnished.
143 North British Rly. brass Thunderer Whistle. “N.B.R.” to side of barrel. v.g.c. & working. 155 “LNER” Horsebrass oval Harness Decoration. (Haw. 95). v.g.c. and complete with two rear fixing sprigs.
144 BR(E) enamel Running In board “Emneth” in its original wood frame. No chips but the blue has lost its colour. Good unrestored condition. 1575x565mm. (62x22.25in). A former GER station east of Wisbech opened March 1848 and closed in Sept. 1968. 156 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “74A” (Ashford). “BR(S)” Eastleigh triangle to back. Face restored only.

Ashton”; “On service immediate to Goods Agent Rainford Junction”. Good cond. in the main. (5) 157 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builders Plate “Built 1961 Horwich”. As carried by a BR 0-6-0 DE Shunter from the numbers D3922 - 3936 / 08 754 - 768 or D4011 - 4027 / 08843 - 859 or D4095 - 4112 / 08881 - 09024. Bolt holes have oxy torch globules. Face restored only a while ago. 266x152mm. (10.5x6in).
